Keith Bulluck to retire as a Tennessee Titan

Linebacker Keith Bulluck will officially retire from the NFL on Friday in Nashville, where he played 10 of his 11 NFL seasons for the Titans, The Tennessean reported.

A press conference is scheduled at the city's Baptist Sports Park.

“First and foremost it was great for me to be able to finish in New York,” said Bulluck, who was born in Suffern, N.Y., and played for Syracuse. “I got to play at home for a year, and maybe it didn’t end the way I wanted it to, but I did get the opportunity — it was always a dream of mine.

“But in Tennessee, I grew from a young man to a grown man in Nashville. The community embraced me and I played a lot of great football there. It is only right that I come back home to Nashville and let the Titans’ fans, the Keith Bulluck fans, and the people of Nashville have this happen.”
