A few questions for all the Redskins fans out there. My bad if any of them have already been discussed. Why didn't the organization want to keep Cousins? Is Alex Smith that much better of an option? And are the majority of fans happy w/ the QB change?

Because of foolish pride and they don’t see dollar signs.

He is a far worse option.

Fuck no.

The organization did want to pay the money that KC is going to get on the market. Plus there was a chance that KC would of turned down our huge offer in FA and we would have been stuck. Alex Smith is a very good option considering that we had no leverage in FA. I don't get why fans are mad about this trade. We got a good QB ad didn't have to pay alot for his talent.

I never understood why the organization didn't want him. This won't happen but I wouldn't mind seeing him in Cleveland.

Well hopefully he'll be the right QB for your team. Wonder how long before Cousins sign w/ someone? As far as which team it may be your guess is as good as mine.

Unfortunately as a lifelong fan of a terrible team right now I know what lousy QB's looks like. I think he's a very good QB. He'd automatically become the best QB the Browns have had since their return in '99. But I think Cousins will have better options than Cleveland.

He will probably wind up somewhere like Denver, Arizona or Jacksonville as he has said more than once he wants to go somewhere where he has a chance to win.

The Redskins have a terrible owner and he minion as VP or whatever he is. Look at the Skins under Snyder. It tells a very clear story.

The organization didn’t want to pay the going rate of twenty million two years ago so they gave him a prove it tag.

The ganization didn’t want to pay the going rate of twenty four million last season so they gave him another prove it tag.

Each time KC proved it and they still didn’t want to pay him this season. So instead, they are paying Alex Smith (an inferior QB) last year’s rate that KC would have commanded and been under contract for with a little forethought. We would also have our third and Fuller still on the team.

Bruce Allen. Now I know some one will say this had to be more than Bruce, but hear me out.

Right now if you had to name the worst GM the Redskins have ever had, you would be hard pressed to say any one other than Bruce... maybe Vinny. Bruce wants more than anything to be in the ring of honor next to his dad as apposed to being the guy who got into the NFL on his dads legacy.

Right now Bruces Legacy is, the GM who made the worst trade in Redskins history. He couldnt resign Kirk, because even if he did and Kirk won us a Super Bowl.... it would always come back to ... yea but Kirk wasnt Bruces pick.

In the end Bruce Allens ego soured the relationship between Cousins and the team. Bruce was not going to sign Kirk unless he had no other option, and even then he wasnt going to sign him long term. Alex Smith trade just gave him a viable out.

see WAMU dean is full of crap . no one knows if KC would have turned down a fair market deal or not . none was ever offered to him and the 58 mil guaranteed he wanted to sign in 2015 was killed by allen

he trots out feinstein as if he knows much of anything about our team on a day to day basis . in fact i doubt anyone had a clue we were going after CDC yet these "experts " didnt know anything more then one of our posters did

the skins made NO OFFER to KC after the season NONE

now the writing was on the wall after the season was over but the puppet contingent NEVER mentioned Smith as any kind of possibility . one non puppet poster KBOS did

in fact most of the puppets never even put out a plan at all to include GUTLESS dean and in fact MY plan was one of the few that ever was put out . dean is very good at picking apart other peoples plans but time after time he wont put out his ideas

now the puppets , to a poster , want to sell that there was no choice but to deal for smith when over and over again the names bridgewater , bradford keenum , AJ mccarron and tyrod taylor kept coming up and made a mockery of that assertion .

the only reason they believe getting the 34 yr old bus driver CDC for fuller and a 3rd rounder was good is because their masters allen / snyder told them it was so and since they are puppets they spew the company line

now they tell me CDC is the next great bus driver to run our team and all we need is a great wr, RB d/line /o/line and he will take us to our 1st round exit next season but keenum , who wouldnt cost us any of our starting slot CB or a draft pick resources wouldnt be as good even though he showed up in a NFC championship game while CDC was gagging vs the titans

dean the puppet wants to sell us that a young TB or AJ couldnt function in our offense with the weapons they say CDC needs . they try to sell me that bradford and taylor are total incompetents and cant run our offense with said weapons

only the great trailways bus driver can do that and all it cost was fuller, a 3rd rounder , and 71 mil guaranteed

the truth is the puppets wanted KC gone since 2014 and didnt have the nut sack to come out and say it as their endless critiques and goal post moving showed time after time

KC would have stayed with the skins if the FO had shown the least bit of faith in him instead of betting against him time after time

the 49ers took a chance on grap and they showed him their faith if that happened in 2015 for 58 mil guaranteed KC would have been a bargain but these guys couldnt even give that but yet say they arent ABCERS / puppets . instead we pay more in personel resources and now more in guarantees to tread water

My prediction, The Kirk Cousins saga in DC ends somewhere between February 27th and March 6th during the NFL Scouting Combine.

March 14 is the beginning of the FA signing period. What do you think will happen before that to make it end?

A desperate team determined to quickly settle its QB situation long before free agency will step up.

So basically the hope is...

There has got to be a GM out there even dumber than Bruce?
