Stop leaving points on the field..... As good as we've been on offense this season, imagine if we had capitalized on all of the other opportunities that we've had. We've left a lot of points out there.

Don't allow aging veteran receivers to torch you. Don't let your foot off the gas when you're up 14 in the second quarter. Don't waste second half timeouts (which, by the way, kudos on this point this past game). Don't allow the opposing team to convert this down and long over and over.

To be fair, I think we were just afraid to tackle Steve Smith.... And I'm not sure I can blame the guys. I thought he might shank someone out there.

He was getting awful gangsta on the sideline. I might have a shiv in his sock.

Marvin actually left his conservative mode and went for it on 4th down at the goal line during this situation. In my opinion we converted that, but boy there were a lot of people crucifying him for that choice that should have made it 21 - 0 with us getting the ball first in the second half.

I don't think we really let up, I just think the defense left too many zones open for the Ravens crappy WR core and decided to continue covering Smith 1 on 1 which was an obvious mistake Sunday.

Fortunately, Andy and Green came to play Sunday and there was not a damn thing Baltimore could do about it.

We get down 17-14, 1 play 80 yards TD, we go up 21-17.

Baltimore scores.

We drive 80 yards down the field in 2 minutes to score another TD. We even scored much faster than we were hoping for. However, after that Monday night debacle with the Giants, no way you don't score while you have a chance, because you don't want to wait until the last play to try and win it.

Defense just needed to step it up in that 4th quarter.

The worst part of that game, was the damn clock management at the end of the 1st half. What the F Marvin was thinking by not calling one of his 2 timeouts immediately after the catch in the middle of the field, I have no idea. Wasted 25 seconds and we couldn't even get into the right play. That was just embarrassing.

You get that timeout called, stop that clock, and try to work the sidelines on the next throw or two. If for some reason you can't get out of bounds, you have one time out to stop the clock in case just to try and get in FG range. That was by far the worst part of the game. We never have end of half TO's so I don't think Marvin knew how to use them properly. Which might exactly be why he uses them so freely during the game, because he knows he will screw it up at the end of the game, so may as well get in the right call or formation during a series instead of looking like a fool at the end of the half. *shrugs*

Really, if the defense just tackles Baltimore doesn't make that come-back. Poor tackling/angles led to Steve Smith having a big day. Kudos to Smith for breaking the tackles, but really, the defense didn't offer much resistance.
