Do some research. Tannehills cap number for 2016 is $11.7 million.... hardly the reason they are in a cap quandry. Fitzpatrick is 33 years old. Again little to no future there. We have a QB for our system, his name is Kirk Cousins.

I get it, you are predisposed to pinch pennines. But seriously, the idea of bringing in a cheap stop gap and HOPING we can find and groom some one better than Cousins is just wasting more time and resources.

I am not against KC getting the contract he is about to get. I have already stated that. I bring up Tannehill because I have no faith in him...plug in Stafford or even Rivers here. These are guys that cannot win games with their current team make ups but teams get stuck with this type of QB because of the nature of the business.

Eventually, teams will understand not to get into bidding wars for other teams QBs. The only time I can remember a team getting really lucky with another teams guy was Brees but even NO didn't overpay to get him. He was still a question mark and was paid like a question mark.

It is ridiculous to see a Manning or a Roethlisberger getting around the same money as a Stafford or Tannehill. It was ridiculous seeing a Bradford coming out of college getting more than these QBs and eventually the league got smart...eventually, it will get smart again with QB contracts.
