Kassian gone for two games

The hit was completely fair by NHL standards. His shoulder hit Senkerik's head because of size difference and the fact that Senkerik wasn't looking for the hit.

IIHF however has these stupid rules that any hit to the head is grounds for a match penalty, regardless of intent or the situation. I think the hit did get his head so the match penalty is warranted.

The Match Penalty has a suspension attached to it but 2 games? just give him the minimum 1 game since the hit to the head was out of Kassian's control.

What hit to the head? Watch the video and tell me when you see head contact. I will not hold my breath.

Last night Gary Green & Craig Button were talking about hits on NHL on the Fly. They both agreed that it's a part of the game & it's ridiculous that after every hit somebody has to go after the guy who hit his teammate. Nobody wants to see players get hurt but it's getting to the point that every time I see a big hit I'm expecting a penalty to be called just like in football.

Well you know how I feel about that. Lets send a message because we got our ass kicked. Here's a good idea, Work hard win the fucking game and you will not need to send a message. It takes more effort to work hard and win a game than a fight that last 40 seconds (what are the priorities, me first?) and it never seems to fire the teammates up. You still lose on the scoreboard.
