I have been wondering that all day, the only "Yost" logic I come up with. Vargas has been dicey lately and he wants Duffy if he has to hook early, he could use the same thoughts on Ventura if Vargas works out....It would be nice to see Duffy and not Liam come out for a LR.

If you look at Guthrie's lines they are wild, 0 or 1 run given up or lit up like a Christmas tree...all or nothing with that guy

Much like Rick Porcello for the Tigers. Both guys pitch to contact, so if their pitches are up, they get torched.

Should be a fun series -- Angels with the most runs in the AL, and the Royals with one of the best all-around pitching staffs. The irresistible force vs. the immovable object. Looking forward to following it.

Guthrie was named a starter? I would be shocked. Shields was named for game 3 and there has been a lot of talk Duffy would be the theoretical game 4 starter.

While we were going into Kaughman for the game, we figured out the best trick in the world for getting tickets to any game if not purchased ahead of time.

Go to Stub hub's sight, as it gets closer to game time, the ticket prices start dropping like rocks. We needed 1 ticket for a guys son who came into town for the game. So we were keeping an eye on everything.

The prices crash right before the start time, you can then have them email it to your phone and they can print it out at the gate. We got a standing room only ticket cheaper. Then we happened to notice that we could see seats that were not purchased and could find seats to go sit at. It worked out great and just like we bought seats.

Should work at any stadium, just FYI, for everyone.

No he was not. But I wouldn't be afraid of him starting if you have a good LR to back him up.

Guthrie and Duffy have to be considered early if Vargas or Ventura start to get hit on.
