so i've been kinda quiet on the flyers getting screwed out of the first pick that season cause from what i heard at the time, the flyers were gunna take JvR anyway.. but.. for the first time outta of awaz's fingers...

i wish the flyers had gotten kane........

I liked how we used Turris as a smoke screen for the longest time and then shock the world by taking JvR.

Thank God for that one.




And I doubt we take JvR with the #1. With the London Knights/Comcast connection, I'm sure we had our eyes on Kane for a long time. Homer just wanted to build JvR's confidence.
