I would rather drop Mississippi State then Vanderbilt. To be honest, I don't see SEC dropping anyone. I wish SEC would add NC State or Virginia Tech and end there.

Why dont teams like Boise, Houston, Air Force, etc. and the decent non AQs that dont get into a super conference (teams like maybe Baylor if they dont get a super conference invite) create a super conference? You would have the ACC, SEC, B1G, Pac 16, and a non"super" super conference. There is no reason to eliminate competitive football teams from a possible national title. Especially now that people know non AQ teams are competitive. At least give them a "play-in" game against the perceived weakest AQ conference champion.
