from the Beltre/Cruz HRs moving forward. Why? I don't know why. I just know that there were just a bunch of ridiculous things that went STL's way down the stretch after we the score was 7-5 (credit them).

1. Holland is cruising and shutting them down, then gives up the HR and single to Craig and Molina, respectively. To be fair I though Craig hit a tough pitch out. Wash takes Holland out. Would I have left him in? Heck yes, without a question (and I was annoyed at the time). For two reasons (one is hindsight) - go with the hot hand and save Adams for insurance later.

2. Adams comes in and gets the first batter to ground out and of course Elvis screws it up. STL gets 2 more hitters to bat that inning. Of course this means Pujols gets to hit in the 9th. Do I like our chances in the 9th facing Jay, Pitcher/Pinch hitter, and Theriot? Yes! ... Ugh

3. 1-2 count on Freese from Nefty (he throws strike 3 by him or gets a weak out 9 of 10 times) but Freese reaches out and lines it over Cruz's head (of course Cruz misplays it).

4. Why the heck do you take out your closer, especially against 2 weak sauce left-handed scrubs and the pitcher?!? I don't know but that's what Wash did (absolutely stupid).

5. DO instead of Mike Gonzalez against the 2 weakest LH in MLB (I'm exaggerating but still). Only Darren freakin' Oliver could have screwed that up. Jay's hit was as cheap as they come. I think Descalso's hit may have been because Kinsler was positioned slight more towards the middle because of his previous at-bat (lol irony).

6. I knew at the time this game was over for the Rangers with an L when German pinch hit for Feldman. Obviously Lowe has to deliver, but Wash set him up to fail. Second appearance in a month and half in the biggest stage of the season? Are you kidding me? To me that showed surrender. Ugh

I'm just ranting to myself - please don't comment on this thread. This is just a rant. Again, just a rant to myself. Ugh Ugh Ugh UGH UGH UGH Ugh Ugh Ugh ...(sigh)

Come on Cowboys help me out. Or NBA give me back my Mavs!

*Did not even tough MY's two ridiculous errors because well they offset with Freese/Holiday even more ridiculous errors*

Know you saw the Repaly of the Game on MLB network. So many things went wrong for the Rangers. That 8th Inning when Kins for got to cover second brought the Cardinals closer to the top of the order in the 9th Inning. You are Brave for watching this. Too much Pain for me to Bear this Again.

Yea, I think we're talking about the same play, but watching it in the bottom of the 8th there was 2 outs and Adams came in for Holland. He immediately got Descalso to hit a grounder to SS. Kins was a little late getting to 2B, but still in PLENTY of time to get Molina's super slow self. However, Elvis for some reason decided to skip a late throw to 1B. Then Adams gave up a single to Jay and got Furcal out on a come-backer. I would have loved to see Feliz in the bottom of the 9th vs. Jay, Furcal, and Theriot.

But yea I agree, there were countless errors in that game. What kills be the most is Wash's decision to take Holland out in the 8th, Feliz in the 10th, and then taking Feldman out in the 11th for German which was completely bone-headed. You have to go with your best option. If Feliz blew the lead in the 10th, I could live with it. Tip your hat to STL you beat our best bullpen guy TWICE. Much props. See in game 7.

Wash said that Feliz looked frazzled after the 9th, which is why he yanked him. If that's the case then he ain't your closer next year.

I can buy that from Wash. Truthfully, I was worried about how he may bounce back from that play. Great closers have gone south quickly after a big let down like that one. There's no bigger letdown then what Feliz had obviously - 1 strike away from a WS championship up 2 runs.

Be thankful that it went 7 games. It could have realistically gone 4-0 St Louis sweep

It also could have gone 4 -0 in favor of the Rangers. Your statement is just stupid. Anything is realistic. The most appropriate (Realistic) statement would be that it was lucky for the Cards to be in the playoffs at all as it took an absolute and total breakdown of the braves for them to even get in.

Having said that, I realize that that sentiment is just plain stupid and complete babble, just like your comment was.

Run along now dipshit.

Feldman facing Berkman in the 10th was also highly questionable. Berkman was 4-10 lifetime against Feldman at the time. Why wasn't Gonzalez, a lefty specialist, called on to turn Berkman around to his weaker right side, and get the final out? Beats me.
