Yeah, I'm not saying fire Scotty Mac right now, but the players assembled over the last 2 seasons are his. The fact that you could make an easy argument that no attempt has been made to get a quality DL player is more than a little distressing.

Cover CBs and pass rushing OLBs/DEs may be the sexy, positions that can get one paid. But w/o a foundation to build them upon. Their impact can be minimal. The defensive line = foundation and we're sowing the results of ignoring it.

Did you see the clip where Fox showed that over the recent past the Redskins basically either win the division or finish in last in the division? Unfortunately - they may be heading in this direction this season. Very, very hard to root for a team that yo yos in that fashion. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe it.

I got us getting blown out by NY and the Browns. We simply dont have the team to support Cousins, and we will probably be drafting a QB next year.

I guess i can see that. But after what i have seen, 6-10 would be a miracle. If Jay Gruden isnt fired on Thanksgiving I will be shocked.

Callahan is not a head coach long term he might be a stop gap if that happens.

He is the best OL coach in the league bar none. if y'all have a coaching shake up my Boys will take him back In a heartbeat

The team to support Cousins? You mean a team that can withstand a QB continually making mistakes & showing less poise than some rookie drafted in the middle round? Cousins has some of the most elite receivers in the NFL & a more than adequate line. Sure - the running game could be better but it was not awful today & many teams win in this era without having an elite running game - this isn't the 90s.

People need to stop making excuses for Cousins. If he turns it around during the rest of the season then my hats off to him. However - if not then he needs to step up & take the blame (at least on the offensive side) - not Gruden, not the running, etc - him.

I dont care how good your QB is, when you line up five wide three times from 3rd and goal, the defense is likely to win that one every time. We have a run game that aint worth runny dog shit, and a defense that couldnt stop my 102 year old grand mother from gaining 100 yards a game.
