Yes I should add for the rest of their career, meaning we would get Manning for 3 yrs to Lucks 12. I would take a player that plays the least heralded position on the field- give me 29 for the Chiefs- Eric Barry. He reminds me so much of Woodson.

Does it have to be a player? Cause if it has to do with our team, I would want a new owner and then convince him to go out and make Sean Peyton an offer he couldn't refuse. In 3 years or less the Cowboys would be in the super bowl.

If I was thinking for this year or the next couple of years it would have to be Manning and Revis (or Sherman if you think Revis isn't healthy). Long term I guess Rodgers and Watt or Sherman. Saying QB is not a knock on Romo at all, but All Time elite QBs are by 20,000 miles the most important thing an NFL team could have.

Aaron Rodgers on offense and overall and it's not close. It wouldn't be an area of need because we have the 5th or 6th QB in the league, but the guy is just on another level. On defense, Clay Matthews/JJ Watt, to close to call

I don't think any RB would put us over the top, so AP and Charles are bad choices IMO.

Eric Berry/Patrick Peterson/J.J Watt are all good choices on defense.

Tough question.
I'd build in the trenches first with either J.J. Watt or Joe Thomas. If we held a draft of all NFL players my first 6 would be the top 2 OT's, top 2 DE's, a top C, and top DT available before I picked any other posistion.

It's hard to go against that but Maybe my first 4. Stud LE, LT, maybe DT. Give me a top tier QB first. Manning, Rodgers, Brees or Luck. then Let's win in the trenches. It's a lot of teams with great OL and then have Dalton or name that sub par QB like Weeden behind the wheel. Give me a Franchise QB. Look at the Texans as exhibit A 1st.:suds:

Teams have proven Trent Dilfers can win SB's if you give him a OL and a defense. I'll wait until round 7 and take Romo or Rivers or someone in their category.

I'd probably take Luck, anticipating a decade or more of good performances from the QB.
