Marty has always faced fewer more difficult shots. Players have said they dont shot on him unless they know its going in. You dont throw softballs to a HR hitter, they feed off the easy stuff. The easier the shots they hard they are to beat.

The other reason he faces fewer shots is his puck handling.

I'd start Marty for at least the 1st 2. Cup would start Moose and if he falters call up one of our minor leaugers. he's hated Marty for years

As much as the team plays better for moose ill almost say he's earned that out of them this season. While he's had some ganes where his help was questionable at best marty only having a handful of games this season in which he's given uo less than 3 goals scares me.

Wedgewood should be taking the ice later today for Team Canada

Wedgewood didn't get the start. They went with Visentin even thought Wedgewood was the better goalie in exhibition. Problem is that before exhibition even started, Visentin was the number 1 goalie. He stunk a few games and Wedgewood was very solid when he played. The coach went with experience since Visentin played in last years tournament.
