Saints to release 2014 sacks leader Junior Galette: 3 things to know - CBSSports.com

Ok so we really don't need him as our defense is already looking pretty sharp and we probably have no money to spend but if we could somehow work something out with him would you want the hawks to sign former saints OLB/DE Junior Galette? 27 years old started all 16 games the past 2 seasons totaling 22 sacks. A rotation with him bennett, avril, and clark would be pretty sick. what does everyone think?

If and its a BIG if, they could find the money, ya you do it. No one's ever said DAMN have to many great D-line. And with today's NFL of passing 50 times a game it only adds more, We don't even need the sacks (which would go down) just the pressure and Sherman and those boys would be drooling looking for picks left and right. Only thing is I just don't see how in the world Seattle would be able to pay him and try to maintain what they have built here already. Also you have to start wondering if there are feeling from those drafted by Seattle looking for money and seeing Seattle continually bring in others Ie Harvin, Jimmy... if it could create some locker room issues.

I like how @seattlefan75 s post doesn't mention his DV situation. I know you guys lost the SB, but he's a lady beater.

he beat one woman with a belt and assaulted another....sign away and stay classy!

Well.... All I've know of him was what was listed above and I only looked at it from a football point of view. I thought he was cut for money which at this point is what the Saint look like they are trying to do form an outside point of view (the Jimmy trade). And as for assault until the NFL BANS or removes all players who do these kind of things, why not bring him aboard, Vick, AP, Hardy ect. ALL NFL teams have low character guys all the time. If Pete and the team believe they can help/prevent another case from happening again than they should do everything in their power to help the team and maybe helping this guys if he's willing to listen. Until the courts start throwing these guys in jail, NFL BAN'S them or people stand together telling the NFL that we will not allow this in our sport than he's going to play for someone. I personally believe they should all be kicked out, it is not a right to play in the NFL it is an honor. But until than I want my team looking at anyone who can help the team win and believes they can prevent/help a player change. And lastly I have no say in who they sign or don't sign but even if they did sign him it won't determine whether of not our city (which also has no say in the matter, its an NFL decision) is classy.

D line injuries cost us HUGE down the stretch last year... It's always good to have more pass rushers...

Look at all the money the Saints are eating to have him likely play for someone else.

No thank you.

Here is a brief summary of the things that Junior Galette said on Twitter, the dude makes Percy Harvin sound like a saint, no pun intended.

Gonna be an ugly couple of meetings this year if he does indeed sign with Tampa.

I think the secret team in the division was Atlanta. But now that the video surfaced, he'll be on the exempt list and nobody will touch him.
