Fernandez won and rightfully so, but I wasn't expecting him to get that many of the first place votes (especially with the buzz around Puig). Puig had a great year though.

Fernandez was the clear choice!!! if a rookie is on the short list of CY award candidates, then that rookie should win the ROY almost every year...

The only question i have is what is better almost winning the CY or almost winnning the MVP??

I'd go with almost MVP, as 80% of players (Im including the bullpen here)are exempt from The CYA. Congrats to both R'sOY. Both loaded with talent, both deserving.
