I kid, of course. Canseco was my favorite player growing up. I still have almost every one of his cards up through his Rangers days. I had the Bash Brothers poster in his room, even painted my room green and gold

I idolized the A's back then. That was a massive team, except for Mike Gallego!
I despised Will Clark and every other Giants players I can ever recall except Rob Nen and Rod "Shooter" Beck. Both were grown-ass men. RIP Shooter

My brother loved Canseco, and my parents went to school with a guy that was working for the A's at that time (maybe bullpen coach?) and they got him a signed glossy. He wrote, "Best wishis, Jose Canseco."
Wishis. Still makes me laugh.
