We're a little hyper-sensitive to trolling over here. Since that was the first mini-troll statement, the pack attacked in attempt to maintain the status quo. Without getting into too much detail and wasting more time, everyone on this Giants board used to enjoy a different board that was over-run by morons. All would understand the reaction if they read what a lot of us read last year.

I understand what powerchord was getting at because that record was broken by two juicers (and would've been broken by other juicers) before Bonds broke their record. What this thread has become stems from a hyper-sensitivity about both trolls and the steroid era. I can't defend either, but understand both.

Anyway, yeah, Bautista is a lot better than I ever thought he would be. I assumed a lot of the AL pitchers would've figured him out by now, but this guy is a masher. I'm glad he is on the Blue Jays instead of a team that actually has a shot. I also agree that it is dangerous to wish for a slight change to a championship season (butterfly effect and all). Plus, he would be too expensive to hang on to (with the young pitchers), and likely wouldn't come anywhere near 50 home runs while playing half of his games in the phone booth. However, a guy with even 40-home run power would be nice in this line-up, but that's nice in any line-up.

Hey guys, I think we're all a little hyper-sensitive (so basically read Heath's post, lol) due to past boards we've come from. I think we got started off on the wrong foot. Everybody relax and start over. I'll take all of the new "non-Giant" posters at their word that it was an innocent mistake. Let's keep it civil and get back to good baseball talk.

That said, if there's anymore personal insults in this thread (besides obvious jokes), those posts will get deleted and this thread will be put on hold. I don't like to have "power-trips", but let's all collectively pull our heads out and keep it cool.

From what I've seen, every poster in here is a pretty good dude.
