Rookie RB Jones getting to be a ‘problem’ for defenses | CSN Mid-Atlantic

a lot of people felt we reached on jones in round 3 (dean ) i for one feel we got him at the right spot and have a gem

I wasn't one of those people, who thought we reached. I already knew what we were getting, when we drafted him because I saw him play. A beast like him, complementing another beast (Alfred Morris) is gonna seem unfair for defenses. A team that's soft up front's gonna have issues. He's probably my favorite draftee, along with Jamison Crowder, who I can't wait to see play.

I thought we could of gotten him in a later round. A lot of NFL people said the same thing. Yes he is looking good. I will admit that. I wanted Cobb(5th round) who is having a great camp for Tenn and could start for them this year. Hey skinsdad did you see Leonard Williams last night?

I am with you Dean and Darrel Green also. Williams looked good. Only time will tell. I hope it turns out to be in our (Skins) favor but if it don't well this will set us back. We need the OL to improve so we can grade our QB's.

I think Jones will make an impact this year and could force Morris out the door. Again I am not doubting his talent. I didn't think he was a high 3rd round pick at draft time. I want to know what Callghan thinks of Scherrf compared to Zack Martin at this time. Plus Martin wasn't even a top 15 pick.

Plus what if Galette blows up this year for 10-13 sacks? There is no way SM lets him leave. Now we got two 2nd round picks as backups for the OLB spot. I know SM didn't know that Galette would of been released at draft time but don't you guys think Smith was a luxury pick in the 2nd round when there were other positions that needed to be addressed?

I am still baffled at our draft . I still cant get over it. But its very possible that Jones and Crowder become starters for us in 2016. I think Morris will have a big year this year. 1200 yards and 12 Td's is very doable. I would hate to lose him but he isn't worth 7-8 mil annually. This is just a huge year for our franchise on both sides of the ball.

LOL. You must have hated when Spurrier was the Redskins coach (I know I did after say the 1st month of his first regular season). The roster was littered with Gators - most of whom were awful.

From the second he was announced as a possible coaching candidate, I started to wonder... Did I take a dump in the wrong persons cornflakes and this is how the universe was getting back at me. LOL

Note: I am so glad we stayed away from Tebow!!!
