No no no. Far too early. If they do it now, they have a chance to turn it around and make the playoffs.

It might be just in time for the Flyers to pick him up. ;)

maybe they can just trade head coaches!

If that isn't a 'thing' then it needs to be.

Michel Bergeron, to this day, holds the distinction of being the only coach in the history of the NHL to be traded as a coach to another team. In 1987, Bergeron was traded from the Quebec Nordiques to the New York Rangers for a first-round draft pick and $75,000

Leave it to the Rangers to give up a first round pick for a coach.

I can only imagine the kind of yapping he'd give the media after that. :laugh3:

As long as Torts is with the Rags, he won't be on TSN - Besides, I like the exchanges with Brooksie.

Dash likes Tortorella as the bench boss in the Big Apple.

I guess that's what I'm tellin' ya, Hoopsie.

As a "journalist" Brooks is a complete POS. But I do enjoy him baiting Torts...and Torts going for every time!

The 1st period "effort" looks like the team has had it. Lets see if torts can fire them up or not

from all accounts ive seen in the past does he even talk to players in the intermissions? I think hes lost the team calling them out the times he has could have done more damage than we think not to mention gutting the grit for NAsh

6 shots on goal for the Rags in the 1st period - Captain Obvious says that's pretty putrid.

I think he's lost them too, but unless he can get 'em back and turn things around I gotta believe his run on Broadway is about over given the expectations for the rag$ this year.
