Also, can we discuss something immediately? Parrella has 2 L's and 2 R's. Let's not let this become another Tommy Frazier, Grant Winstrom, or Jason Peters.

I like the Parelaa'h hire but the Devaney hits it out of the park, having a former NFL exec and scout should have our recruiting tuned up and rolling right along

The Devaney higher intrigues me some but as a St. Louis Rams fan and now Los Angles Rams fan he was the one who picked Bradford over Suh! IMO it was one of the dumbest moves I've witnessed as a Rams fan a QB who was coming off an injury and one of the greatest DT's to ever come out of college. So we will see and hopefully he can really help with finding the right high school talent to recruit for Mike Riley's staff.

Dude...do you remember the 2009 Rams QB roster? They needed a QB like nobody's business.

I do and the Rams still need a QB! Bradford was not worth the cap hit last year of the huge rookie salaries.

SO, most of the coaching staff and Bill Devaney were all at the San Diego Chargers together.

The good news, the people should be able to evaluate NFL type talent, maybe not Super Bowl Champion NFL talent, but ........

The bad news, Jim Harbaugh was the starting QB for Mike Riley when at the San Diego Chargers. Weird.

San Diego Chargers
Head Coach Mike Riley
Director of Player Personnel Bill Devaney
Defensive Assistant Secondary - Mark Banker
Special Teams Bruce Read
Starting QB Jim Harbaugh

Record in 2000 1-15

Bill Devaney left

Record in 2001 5-11

I think you just let Parrella off the leash and let him do what he knows oOS best for the team. I mean CA. You imagine if we had the Blackshirt mind set. It's going to be interesting what kind of players we are going to go after and what we will get out of them
