This is what I hate about this whole NCAA investigations shit...Why punish the current players, the current program for what one shit head did years ago?? PUNISH THE PERSON WHO FUCKED SHIT UP!!! Just simply tell these shitbags that "You are no longer able to have a job associated with the NCAA." And then fine their ass..

It would be so screwed up if they were to punish Nebraska...NOONE from that era is associated with this program anymore, not even our AD. Why the HELL would you punish Nebraska when we have no more ties with this scumbag.

NCAA needs to re-evaluate their punishments..Why ruin a colliegate athletes 3-4 years at a school where they had nothing to do with what happened. I feel bad for UNC players who followed the rules, they are getting punished for nothing.

Same goes for USC, I know many of us love to see these guys down, but how unfair is it to some of those players who worked hard to get there nad play for the Trojans and then get fucked in the ass by the NCAA for something they had nothing to do with.

Complete bullshit, punish the people who do the wrong.

i like that idea, but there have to be some punishment to the entire school, sins of the father..

players just need to leave the program and ncaa needs to let them play wherever they go

but for instance, say Nebraska gets a investigated because of this clown...It's not Nebraska's fault anymore, noone within the athletic department is the same as when he was here...I mean Harvy Pearlman, but c'mon, that's stretchin it.

Although Nebraska won't get investigated, we would have known by now.

i doubt john blake was calling agents for those kids, so i would think it a strech to think you'd need to investigate any other school an asst coach had been at

The N. Carolina issue is more than just calling agents. It's trips, tutors, inappropriate benefits.
This is just as much on Butch Davis and the administration's (AD) heads, as it is Blake.

It wasn't that long ago (2004-2006) he was at NU. Who knows if the NCAA will come bird-dogging around here or not? The agents involved are friends of Blake from way back before his NU days.

Amidst the turmoil of the period in question, the recruiting emphasis on being an 'NFL pipeline', do you trust that Pederson and Callahan kept things on the up and up and were monitoring the program properly?

Recruiting ability was highlighted as one of Blake's strengths when he was hired here.

The fact that NU had little success in that era may end up being a blessing.
