I don't know what happened in the game, but yea I never liked Joey Crawford. I always felt like he tried to prove his manhood on the court through his whistle. There's no place for that in officiating. He should just do his job and stay quiet.

Crawford was suspended after he threw out Duncan for laughing on the bench, but only for a season. I have no idea how the NBA lets Crawford officiate Spurs games or NBA games in general. At least they didn't eject anyone for the Blake/Z-bo wrestling match.

Yeah, I have no idea why Stern keeps him employed. Must be protected by tenure or something.

There is no one player who is bigger than the NBA and there damn sure is no one referee bigger than the NBA.

Really wish this douchesnozzle would retire along with Stern.

if Stern DID retire we'd STILL be stuck with Adam Silver. we'd be no better off...

The best/worst part is people who didn't watch the game know what he did without even asking. They just know he called a bunch of bullshit

Just saw the highlights of the Memphis/Clippers game and I take back what I said about Joey Crawford. I think he did right in ejecting Chris Paul for what he did. Major cheap shot by Chris Paul. He should be fined AND suspended to start next season for it.

I don't think you have been paying attention to this Clippers team which I predicted was destined to failure back in October. They play with a chip on the shoulders and are very physical. Griffin has no moves in the post and his shots consists of jumping a lot and slam dunks. I have been saying he was going to get beat up a lot, because once he does his hi fly act, the glares at the others as if he is challenging them to fight.

Didn't catch the game but if this is about cp3's second technical, he DESERVED TO BE THROWN OUT. I did see footage of that and I'm not sure if it was a reaction to something previous or not, but the way he went at Gasol was dirty. Chris Paul always did tow the
line between aggressive and slightly dirty, even back at wake forest. Sort of reminds me of Derek Fisher, although not exactly. Pretty sure he'll get half the criticism that Dwight did for being kicked out of the game though. As for the summer, of the teams lined up, I can't see him leaving the clippers, that is unless a big team clears up cap space through trades

Nothing new with Joey. He loves to be animated out there. However, CP3 deserved what he got. That was ridiculous the way he went at Gasol. That was no basketball play. That wasn't an attempt to box out on the rebound. It was a really bizarre play. Not sure why CP3 isn't getting much heat over it.

CP3 did nothing wrong. It was a normal foul. He bumped gasol in the chest and that flopper gasol went down like she just got knocked down by a 350 pounder. There was nothing dirty about it. Gasol flopped big time. If it was so dirty it would have been called a flagrant

because gasol flopped. Little chris paul really knocked his big ass down by bumping him in the chest?
