I don't like the fact that he doesn't own the poor play. Seems like he's blaming the poor blocking on the rest of the offense.

He's probably tired of hearing its the OL's fault. Hard to argue on tape, BUT unless I'm reading it wrong, he only mentioned the run game.... Backs do need to hit the holes when their there...

IMO he shouldn't be talking to the media. you want to stay humble when things are going good, and certainly not say anything when its bad.

whether its mostly himself, mostly the other linemen, mostly TE/RB's, or coaching, there's a BIG problem. nothing he can say in print that'll be taken postively.

if Harbaugh is correct with 'communication thing', they have a better chance of improving. if its a him, him, and him thing, we're more screwed than we thought.

more dissapointed in the run blocking than pass protect, cause we could almost predict the pass protect would lag. pass protect does involve good communication including TE's and RB's. yeah, i know its NOW its past the point where 'lag' is a reason.

anyways, knowing the pass protect would lag, expected this line would run block early on. run block well enough to 'carry' this offense? oh well......

just keep working, 'communication' things can be worked out and should be worked out. if it remains individual breakdowns, God help us.

Yeah the Pats have switched from their Cover 2 scheme they were running last season to more man-to-man. As a result they are getting roasted and that includes McCourty. He beasted in their scheme last season.

Apart from the big names they have on the DL, and Jerod Mayo, the Pats defense is nothing special if you ask me. And that DL is on the older side if they get injured like Haynesworth is right now that hurts them even more.
