I heard it was the 17th hole and that he celebrated his shot, which makes me think that the story is complete BS. Had they said it was the 19th hole tie-breaker and that there was a Northwest Division goalie on the green, it would've sounded more like Sakic's style.

Kids these days... if Joe Sakic lived on my block when I was growing up, his driveway would be shoveled 24/7, no questions asked, just so that I could say I did it. Instead today's youth is too busy listening to the hippity-hop and playing their WiiPods.
