Can't say I'm surprised. Look how long it took Art Monk to get into the hall. :mad2:

Brian deserves consideration but not before Joe.

That just makes the bias in the nomination process more shameful.
I haven't been following it (obviously), so why are they biased against bmitch?

Not so much against BMitch but in the inherent bias towards the contributions special teams and outstanding members of the same make towards the success and failure of the team. In this case, as outlined, Mitchell was among the very best to ever ply his craft.

Bias can be argued. ST players rarely if ever make the HOF.

I voted for Joe. Its a shame he's not in already.

Bmitch and ST players in general should get more love from the HOF voters. Ray Guy was selected as the punter for the 76th Anniversary Team, the best of the best, but he'sw not in the Hall.

Jerry Smith should be in the Hall and Chris Hanburger's entry, finally, was very well deserved.

It was crazy that Hanburger took so long to get it. 9 time Pro Bowler; 4 time 1st team All Pro, 2 times 2nd team All Pro; 1972 defensive player of the year.

Jerry Smith was so far ahead of his time but due to his sexual persuasion

BMitch deserves to be there but ST players rarely get inducted.

Smith should be a must : I don't think voters are keeping him out because he was gay. I think he flies under the radar so much
