Pay no attention, the guy shows up without having a clue about what is happening with our team.

Back to Gallette I too wondered if he had lost something, 2 years off is a long time. But the reports are repaired achilles is not like a repaired knee, it's acutally stronger and less likely to tear. But it won't be the new DC's decision, SM is in charge of personnel and apparently a new, cheap deal is in the works.

My problem with depending on a guy coming back from injury is, too many times in sports I have seen guys come up with other injuries because they are trying to hard and dont quite trust the repaired part just yet. I really think a big part of him blowing this current Achilles was due to him trying to over compensate.

So we don't want a guy because he works too hard?

Look I agree it's a risk, but certainly a risk worth taking especially if it's a vet minimum. I still say he could have really helped us this year but after another year out, yeah I get your thoughts.

Well I just found out about JB and was surprised b/c he had no talent. However JB approach can work but I never liked his philosophy. JB was never a good DC anyway but I will give him the benefit of doubt, he needs talent. Hope we will wait and see what happens in Denver. Maybe this time we can get a good DC. A Good DC most of the time will find a way, with or without talent. We must move toward making some upgrades on the D level.

JB is not the only problem on this team in so far as coaching staff. Time to stop blaming JB all the time. This has been my deep feeling since the start of the season. The root of the problem could be Gruden with his pass happy ASS. He has more talent on the OFF than JB. Some one here mentioned how often Gruden has said we were out coached several times this season. I said this many times before one of Gruden problems is he's just to dam impatient with the RG. Hopefully we can find a few pieces on the OL and maybe a RB during the off season. If things don't improve after next season I would say hasta la vista Gruden.

Not sure if this was meant for me or not.

BUt let me clear up. I would love to have Gallette back, for a relatively safe contract based on his injury history. And I would not go into the off season planning for him to be a big part of any plans. Sign him, if he makes roster great. But I wouldnt leave the team open to the concept of being screwed if he either injuries himself again, or just isnt quite right coming back from injury.

So yea, sign him.. .as a penciled in backup.

I would love to see Double GG back on staff. And it would be a huge signal that we are going back to a 4-3 defense.

I second that emotion! They would play hard, gang tackle, and hit, or they would sit........and they would get an earful while sitting.

Supposedly they already have. I'd be surprised, but I'd love it. Those players on D last year ran amuck. Baker and RJF shouting at Barry. Breeland telling Barry what he's going to do and what he's not going to do. Ihenacho pouting about a jersey number. Williams would come in that room and immediately own it. I bet there would be dead silence.
