actually, I like the kids bravdo...of course, now he needs to go out and back it up, but still, I like it

and I don't really buy into that bulletin board material stuff. sure, maybe for a regular season game, but let's face it, if the Yotes can't get up for a game 7, no amount of smack talk from howard is going to make a difference

I wouldn't go as far to say that they were lucky. They had some very excellent deflections that went top shelf. Those are hard to duplicate but they certainly did execute on the chances they had and the Wings did not.

Jimmy will ether end up looking like a genius or a jackass, depending on the game he plays. I think it's pressure he didn't need to put on himself when he's yet to win a playoff series in his career.

The statement was taken a bit out of context. The luck he was refering to was a few posts that were hit that didn't result in goals, not that the Yotes were lucky to win the game.

I have to tend to agree with him. The 1st goal was a shorty, which the Wings haven't had many scored on them all year.

The Wings had 3 PP's in the 1st 6-7 minutes they didn't score on & Detroit outplayed & outshot the 'Yotes the whole game.

I'd say the 'Yotes did get a bit lucky .............

Have to go easy on the Phoenix papers. They were surprised to learn the Coyotes still existed just recently, much the same as their shiny new fanbase.
