He'd make a quality backup, but his cap hit might be prohibitive.

They should of thought of that before the $8 million extension.

If the Jets want to improve do these 3 things: 1. Get a new GM, Mike Tannenbaum is not the guy you want in there. I say try and get Pioli or someone w/ his caliber. 2. Fire Rex Ryan, he is a defensive coordinator---and a great one. He is not a head coach, and tried to rely on the defense the second half of the season. 3. Get rid of Sanchez, he has had his chances and it isnt working out. Honestly, I dont know who wants him, but some team will need a backup.
