Man, that does not paint a pretty picture, if the interviewed athletes are all telling the truth. But when I see this:

McNeil recalls having a difficult day at practice in 2007 and then-defensive coordinator, Will Muschamp, calling him into his office. “I had no clue what it was about because I’d never directly asked him for anything,” says McNeil. “He slid about $400 over to me. He went into a drawer and gave me money and said, ‘Is this enough? Is this good?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’” Muschamp, now the head football coach at the University of Florida, denied the payment through a spokesperson.

I tend to believe them.

It really is amazing. I'm sure the NCAA will turn the blind eye... again.

The real story is McNeil though. I hope that kid is able to get cleared.

Auburn isn't the only D1 program in this state doing it. And I ain't talking about Troy, USA, or UAB either.

Maybe, but if they're gonna do it they should be able to atleast win more than 3 games. Silly bitches can't even cheat right.

Same reporter who broke this story is the same bitch who fabricated some of the Duke Lacross r*pe scandal. So yeah, I don't buy it.

I think she was also the same one who broke the story about A-Rod using steroids, which was true.

Just the part about McNeil is bad enough, how the university lied about what happened to the family and then stopped communicating with them altogether. That is just disgusting. That's someone's child, not some commodity to be discarded. That alone makes me lean towards thinking this is the truth. The players who denied saying what they said, of course they're gonna deny it. This is their alma mater.

I guess I think the story on McNeil alone is very compelling. Why commit career suicide by adding in a bunch of stuff that is completely inaccurate?

Only thing I can say to that is she wouldn't be the first. Stephen Glass

Oregon did more dirt than Auburn through that same time frame. It's not even close.
