Jersey SB???

Was down in Times Square tonight for a while. The game may be in Jersey, but the festivities are most definitely in NYC. By the way, watched some people wait an hour to kick the worst FG attempts I've ever seen in my life. My wife was even laughing at them. Anyone wondering about the weather...won't be an issue at all unless something changes drastically between now and then.

Was hoping for a major snowstorm so the NFL and Mara would fall on their faces. But the better the weather the Better Denver's chances are. Since I want Seattle to lose I see the weather report as a plus.

Not really a hate thing ( well yeah I do hate Mara)

But if this Superbowl goes well .... Every team becomes able to host a Superbowl (except Green Bay)

I just think it's an asinine idea to have the SB in a cold weather city. The hate of Mara is just extra incentive to hope the game was a failure.

eventually the Cowboys are going back to the Superbowl ...... And I intend to be there when they do.

Would be nothing more fucked up than to buy tickets and have to sit in the cold/rain/snow ect

If NY/NJ wanted a Super Bowl, they should have built a dome. Super Bowls should be warmer weather events. The occasional north is ok, but Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Arizona and California is where they should be played.

I'd rather watch a cold weather snowy game than a dome track meet anytime. If I remember the worst weather lately for SB week was in Dallas.

And everybody and their brothers complained about the weather. Playing in Northern cities increases the chance of freezing weather games. The NFL simply lucked out this year.

I understand travel to and from the game is an issue, but wouldn't it have been great to have no snow before the game, then a quick storm to bring down like 4 inches during the game and then stop before everyone needs to go back to their hotels? To me that is old school playoff football.
