Yeah it said that Reid's number is temporary. I'm sure he's waiting for someone to get cut so he can take a number in the 20's

I hope he winds up with #24

He won't. Two people right now want that number between Dixon and Aso. Dixon isn't going anywhere so Aso will probably have to get a new number if he makes the team.

Brock 26 and McBath 28 are prime numbers. I like 28 for Reid.

I would like to see Cameron Morrah give up his #84 to Patton and I would like to see Anthony Dixon cut and give Lattimore #24(to me that just seems to fit), and see Reid get #28(Sorry Darcel)

sidenote: too many of our TE's are taking the #'s in the 80's.. I think we probably have to lead the league with WR #'s in the teens.. we got like 30.....okay, like 6.. but still OUr TE's need to go back to the #'s in the 40's..

Why wouldn't he? He is a back up RB, FB and is our ST ace. He is too valuable to let walk.

He's a horrible rb and will be cut for depth at other positions unless Hunter starts season on dl. I'm pretty sure I read he's working out again already?

I think Lattimore would look good in 36 Reid should get 24 I like Moody at 54 all our ILB should continue that 50 trend. I think Mcdonald should get a 40s # 44 might fit

Dixon plays a role on this team and he is great at that role. He is an adequate short yardage back, actually he played extremely well this season regardless of the yardage. He also backs up at FB and is our special teams ace. There is no depth player who is going to provide what he does, I'm sorry.

As for DL depth, what the crap do you think they did this offseason? They signed Dorsey; drafted Dial and Carradine. Carradine provides depths at the end positions that we haven't had with the likes of Dobbs. Dorsey can play NT and DE which is indeed the plan for Dial as well. Those guys are for sure going to make the team and it wouldn't take Dixon's position away since they are replacing lesser players from last season. How many D-Linemen do you expect them to keep when we play a 3 man front half the time?

What on Earth does Hunter have to do with this? Hunter was healthy last season and Dixon still made the team. Dixon isn't the 2nd string RB, but he plays many different roles.

Didn't guys like you make the same claim that he would be cut last season as well? I do believe having this exact same conversation last year with sevearl people.
