Ok, so its almost certain he'll receive at least a 4 game suspension from the League but will this prohibit him from being re-signed by the Bengals?

excerpt~

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Jerome Simpson could receive a 60-day jail sentence after pleading guilty Thursday to a drug-related felony charge as part of an agreement with prosecutors, further clouding his future in the NFL.

A judge will decide next month whether to accept the prosecutors' recommendation or give him a more lenient sentence.

The four-year veteran is a free agent after completing his contract with the Bengals. His guilty plea could bring a suspension from the league, which would make him less attractive on the free-agent market.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said in an email Thursday that the case will be reviewed under the league's substance abuse policy.

He's gone.... I think the team was going to move on with or without the drug charges. He's just not consistent enough to be relied upon.

He was consistently bad for 3 of the 4 years he was on the team.

LOL! I think he was actually consistently bad with the exception of 2 games at the end of 2010.

Oh, and he did a flip into the endzone, so that counts for something I guess.

I'd be shocked if he plays another game in the NFL ever again.

He'd be a great addition to Tim Tebow's allusive Receiving core.

OMG, that flip was amazing. He is just now coming into his own.
You all are being hard on the kid. He deserves another chance.

He's a 2nd round pick that played in 13 games over his first 3 seasons because he was unable to grasp the playbook. He doesn't need another chance.

Another stellar draft selection by our team. Jerome instead Deshaun Jackson. And the hits keep coming.
