Not way off? Did you see who he gave to the Raiders. The Iowa OT wasn't even a top 15 pick. The Flower kid from Florida is something to keep an eye on. He is 277 pounds that is big enough to play 3-4 DE. Scouts love this guy. Williams is #1 on my board. Even if we get Oldrick in FA. What a steal if he is there.

nfl.com has him at 260. which is it? at 260 he cant be a 3-4 DE. I cant see how Rak is going to stay. The top 10 is loaded with 3-4 OLB's.

I don't know wouldn't make much sense to draft him if we pick up Odrick would rather trade down we have so many holes to fill

Call me crazy but I would give our 4th round pick to JAX to draft Williams. He would just fit perfectly and solve the huge hole at DE. If we sign Oldrick in Fa I will have to think about making that move but if we don't I would do it.

That's why I would trade down hell there will be top pass rushing OLB's in the 2nd and 3rd round

McCloughan would call you crazy. If we're trading out of our pick, it'll be trading down where we get more picks. That's what McCloughan is about. Even if Williams is that good, he's just one player. We need many, especially on defense.

I would take the chance on the best defensive player in this draft. just bc you have more draft picks doesn't mean the guys you take will turn out. The draft is a crap shoot.
