Vinik’s plans include more than $1 billion in construction | TBO.com, The Tampa Tribune and The Tampa Times the lightning could be on there way to a big money maker in the next 5 to 10 years! another reason i think Stamkos is going no where.

Jeff Vinik may be the best owner in all of sports. Ilitch is doing similar things for Detroit. You have to love an owner who invests in the area, even if it will make them boatloads of money, rather than an selfish owner who tries to strongarm a city to bend over.
