This is an absolute joke. He and his whole crew of inept clowns are making a mockery of this game. They ejected a Rams player for a complete accident and none of these morons overturned the call even when at least three of them clearly saw it was an accident. Then they flag him again when he gets mad at the call.

Then, they blow a play dead that should not have been blown dead. The play would have been a Seattle TD, and the next play Luke Willson gets carted off the field. That's on them as far as I'm concerned.

These are just the two worst offenses. They are taking forever to get their calls together and can't seem to get half the player's numbers correct in addition to several other missed calls. If these jerkoffs don't get fined or completely fired after this game I have no hope for the future of officiating in the NFL.

I was curious how Lynch didn't get flagged for his hands to the Rams defenders face. Literally to his face since the defender didn't have a helmet on. it gets called all the time around the line of scrimmage. Here it couldn't have been any more of an obvious call. But they made sure to flag the rams on the same play. have to agree the refs kinda sucked in that game.

Not only was that the worst officiated game I've seen since the replacement refs, but did they really need to take 3-5 minutes at least 4 times to make calls? Not only did they flat out blow calls over and over, but took forever to do it.

That whole crew should be fired. Really hope they don't get to work any playoff games.

At least with Ed the reason we know him is his ridiculously long explanations. Triplette is only known for his total buffoonery and his entire crews total incompetence.

The replacement refs weren't THAT bad. Certainly not any worse than the clowns we've had out there this season. ESPN and the announcers just liked to jump on the replacements refs for every little error they made. The truth is, most of the things they messed up on were small like getting the ball placed correctly and knowing when to start the clock. This type of thing was expected since most of them came from other leagues with different timing rules. The amount of truly bad calls was not any different than the refs make now. Sure you can point out the Fail Mary but Hochuli blew a call worse than that the year before.

I agree that the flag for the Rams on that play was BS, but I don't think you flag Lynch there. The guy's helmet flew off and you can't really ask Lynch to stop stiff-arming him since the guy was still actively trying to take him down.

What I find particularly troubling is that the Rams player who was ejected will probably get fined for slamming his helmet before leaving the field ( completely understandable given how awful the call was ), yet Triplette and his band of imbeciles won't see any punishment for their terrible performance that lead to a player getting carted off the field. There needs to be more accountability for NFL refs. If I sucked at my job as bad as most of these guys do I would get fired.

Yeah that inexplicable dead play call on that defensive offsides call was plain stupid. No whistle at all and yet the play doesn't stand despite the defense not having an unabated to the QB on it. Our TE ends up going from making a one handed grab for a TD to carted off the field because of that stupidity. It was really infuriating to watch.

well he put the hands to the face after the helmet was off, & whether it is fair or not. It is a penalty to do so. So I think that was a pretty obvious penalty. not only that he had the little shove to the face as he went out of bounds. but not just bagging on that play. Those guys were like in over their heads the whole game. I just think the rams went on tilt after that play.

Are you sure about that?

I've seen guys make tackles after their hat comes off. If they're still playing all out, you can play all out against them.

He was saying the hands to the face was still illegal, not continuing a play after his helmet came off.

The Rams player getting ejected was definitely wrong. Clearly accidental but when he did it he should have shut up right there and turned to the official and just said sorry or my bad or whatever and it likely wouldn't have happened. At the time, things were getting out of hand and these officials were in over their head. They were calling some stupid shit at that time and caused most of the problem, imo.
As for that other call, the whistle did blow and the play was dead because the defensive player caused a Hawks O-lineman to move. Maybe we don't like the call but it is the rule and Luke Wilson getting injured isn't on them.

Please tell me this isnt a "seattle fans complaining about the refs" thread:noidea:

How is that a bad thing when the team complaining about it won their game and the refs were not part of the outcome of that game? Further when plenty of our fans are saying the calls that went our way were BS. Maybe read before you troll? Just trying to help you not look so stupid next time.

Complain? No. Outraged might be a better word. And in case you didn't notice I'm not mad about the officials for blowing a call that cost Seattle anything. They won this game handily. I'm just pointing out the fact that this crew threw a Rams player out of the game for a simple mistake that none of the crew corrected even though several of them saw what really happened. Then, they blew a call that would have ended a drive and on the next play a player was carted off the field. I've seen the officials make game after game unwatchable with their ineptitude and tendency to throw bogus flags and miss obvious calls all year. Not just in Seahawks games but in the NFL in general. It's a joke an the NFL needs to hold these morons accountable.

The officiating system as a whole needs a complete overhaul. I can only understand `45% of the rules anymore and it seems the refs know even less
