I hate to say it but a loss here would be great for Team Tank.

Hey Shaqdaddy11 recruit some more Lakers fans to come on here, we gotta roll deep in here. :suds:

I would love to. Unfortunately TRUE and LOYAL Laker fans are hard to find nowadays. I board I visited a few months back even had a guy who said he would stop rooting for the Lakers and become a Clippers fan. Was deadly serious about it too. Pussy!

I would predict at worst the Lakers will finish with the 8th worst record. I think the bottom 8 are defined. I'm not sure the Bucks, the Magic, or the Sixers can be caught. 4th worst record should certainly be good enough for the #1 pick (conspiracy theorists?).

Unbelievable Shaqdaddy. Either you are a Laker fan or you are whistling dixie. Some game nights, it is just LALakersboy and myself and that is it. And I for one still am having fun because LALakersboy is the real deal!!

OUCH! That's sad to hear that a Laker fan would become a Clip. I hope if the Laker Fans are quiet they are only silent because they are in shock. I'm depressed about this season but I'm still watching and :hope: ing

NBA draft lottery - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Realistically, bottom 7 are the only ones that have a decent shot at it. Likely bottom 5 is safer bet. That's what I'm hoping for. But right now with everyone supposedly getting healthy, I'm getting worried about them winning games and being closer to 10th or 11th. That's the worst case scenario for this season. Because with guys like Farmar, Pau, and Young, the team isn't dreadful (still not good, just not bad). And that's not even considering if Kobe comes back.

I may be as frustrated as everyone else, but I will always be a Lakers fan. We Lakers fans have been so fortunate to have had great teams to root for. The Lakers have laid an egg a time or two before and have come back stronger than ever. I'm confident that the Lakers will do that again despite the presence of Jim Buss slithering through the halls.

Go Lakers and let's keep our heads up!!

I've rarely missed a game in the last 18 years - and with the 9 hour time difference that's saying something (before that it was a bit harder with the lack of internet technology). Through the good times and the bad times I've bled purple and gold and I plan to for the rest of my life.

Magic and Kareem got me hooked. Got a lot of slack from the guys in school for not picking the Sonics.

It was a fucking pain in the ass trying to follow their games here in the UK in the 90s. Most of the time I had to listen to Chick over the radio. Got a lot easier with broadband a few years ago. Cost a small fortune but well worth the money. At least I get to see them live and in HD now - even if the games do start at 3am most of the time.

Been a Lakers fan since I was 8 years old (43+ years) despite the best efforts of my family to make a Suns fan out of me (including my 2 favorite aunts who were Suns season ticket holders and took me to a lot of Suns games).

My kids, however, have been raised properly and are both Lakers fans!!

I've pretty much seen it all with the Lakers and I'm not going anywhere. As for the Clippers: I don't dislike them, I just don't care about them in the least and don't even watch them unless they are playing the Lakers.

Sadly there are a fair few fans out there that only root for the Lakers when they're winning and then bail on their ass when they're in the current situation.

82-0 or 0-82 - Purple and Gold for life!!!

Yo Shaqdaddy. Where in England do you live? Curious because my parents are from the south (Portsmouth and Gosport) and I've been there several times. Love me a nice pint in a local pub :suds:

I live in the south west. Near Plymouth.

Love this country but British sports doesn't compare to American sports. You kind of get sucked in to soccer as it's huge here but nothing beats the NBA and NFL.
