Crick and Suh had almost identical numbers their JR years, but Suh was also throwing OT's into the QB with his stupid amount of power. That's not a knock on Crick, Jared will have an equally great Sr year, but we won't see another DT like Suh in many years

Yep RedAlert. Teams tired to tie up Suh and that released Crick. As I recall Crick was getting upset that Suh was getting all the press and Suh told Crick to just keep at it and they would take notice. He did and so did the Press. When that happened The back field started to step it up more and they fed of of each other. Much like in the old days of the NC teams. That is why we were still doing so well on D last year. Having Suh stay one more year really helped Bo move the D to an upper level quicker. Now they could get better but they all want that Blackshirt and have a real idea what it takes to get one cause of Suh.

You are right. Suh is one of the rare ones that come along every once and awhile and are fun to watch. And they raise the level of play of everyone around him. Heck he was only the 4th NFL rookie to be voted into the Pro Bowl. That is a very special person. Suh was basically a Pro playing college ball his Sr. year. Crick has the things he is very good at and well that just the way things go. Otherwise we could play a game against a team once and never have to play them again. lol And that would take all the fun out of it.
