Fourth Round Pick Duke WR Jamison Crowder

The Jamison Crowder pick is a good one for two reasons — he’s a very good slot receiver and a very explosive punt returner. For those reasons, Andre Roberts’ days could be numbered.

Crowder is pretty small — standing around 5ft 8. However, he plays big and understands how to work from that slot position. He has very good short area quickness, foot speed and route running ability. He’s a guy who can make plays for you downfield and in the short ball game. He has the potential to be a safety blanket and chain mover for the Quarterback.

Hey Caliskinsfan. I've watched this kid and he just oozes with potential. I'm very happy for him and the Redskins. He will be a very good professional player and just an all around quality young man.

I see the Redskins also got Takoby Cofield and gave him a signing bonus to boot. He is a solid O-Lineman. He didn't get a lot of the same accolades as Tomlinson although he was All-ACC, but he will be a solid player given time. Duke's O-Line has been part and parcel of their recent success.

Biggest signing bonus of all the undrafted peeps. Posted that early today in another thread and thought it very interesting. We need so much help and competition on our Oline that this seems a really positive signing. If for nothing more than depth and development in the future. Sounds like he might be a promising prospect for actually making the roster.
