Adios.

Who will bring him in to their camp to be an enforcer?

The jury is still out on this O line even with the additions. My worry is once they figure starters, who is going to replace an injury. Everyone is optimistic including myself, that Leary,Watson,Bolles and Paradis will right the ship and improve run game/pass pro immediately. What happens when one or two go down early or mid season ? Denver has no depth on the line. So.....was going to say and mimic your take on Ferentz also but....maybe it's not so so funny-ish. ;)

Interesting move - since Paradis had surgery and Ferentz was last year's back up. Max Garcia has been snapping the ball some.

Connor McGovern is taking a lot of snaps at Center just in case Paradis can't go.

I figured Ferentz wouldn't make the team this year with the new coaching staff. I figured he would at least make it to pre-season.

I don't think James will be hurting for money.

His dad is the highest paid employee in the state of Iowa. His brother is an offensive coordinator under his dad and his wife has a admin job here in Iowa City. He aint hurting for money.

Oh yeah and he wasn't a restricted free agent. He was exclusive rights. He signed a 1 year 615,000 contract, no signing bonus. It didn't hurt us one bit.

I appreciated the fight in the kid but have to agree very little chance he was making this team this year. He was a much better fit in the old scheme so I think we can find some better power based Center back up options than him. I do like that they are working out McGovern at the position right now while Paradis heals up so that he can be the key back up on all 3 inside positions this season.

It's funny that most people don't realize that a portion of their "tax dollars" go to pay millions to coaches like Saban, Ferentz, etc...

Well his Dad deserves it . Iowa has a great program worthy of paying a Coach that has done that much .

Go Iowa !!

I hope some Day soon Teams like Iowa , Boise ST and teams like them get a chance and win National Titles
