what's the difference in what order they fought? anyone who knows boxing knew that would be a war.
Yes, but the Tyson Paul fight brought in the millions of people that don't know boxing. None of them would have cared about the "war" that came after it.

Yeah they would have watched it and then once it was over immediately stopped watching whatever matches were left.

Yeah but they probably check out after the Paul Tyson fight reguardless. Promotion-wise they did great on this. It was never going to be a great fight though. Big loser is Netflix, not really but they are going to probably get more bad press than the fight.

regardless of when they checked in or out, they would have still had to pay for.

serrano-taylor was one of the greatest matches of all time, although the decision was a ripoff. tyson paul was a joke.

I didn't watch it. I knew it was gonna be a joke of a fight because Jake Paul can only fight people who werent boxers before, or retired fighters. Then you have people on ESPN hyping him up like he's achieved something.

Yeah but the point was to promote boxing, the order they did it made for a better promotion because lots of people who wouldn't have watched that fight if Tyson and Paul fought first. In other words, Serrano and Taylor probably picked up a bunch of fans they might have not had previously. I agree on the decision though, not really on the payment, it was on Netflix. I'm sure they gained some subscribers from it but if anyone got Nextflix specifically for that fight, they most surely canceled today after the dumpster fire of service they got.

Me. When I said "they" I meant guys like me who grew up watching some fights on HBO and pay per view but aren't boxing fans now. If the Tyson Paul fight was first or second instead of the main event I absolutely would have watched it then not watched the rest of the card. Especially since it was on Netflix, which I already have so I have nothing invested in it (as opposed to if it was a pay per view event).

what difference would have it made if uneducated boxing fans like yourself decided not to watch the best fight of this century?

It was tough to watch. At least the ladies match and the championship match were both good.
