A healthy Jagr with Crosby would be scary...

I don't know. Crosby needs speed on his line. He's better when it's about making decisions faster than the defense can react. If Jagr and Crosby were on a line together, no one would move..

I'd put Jagr on Malkin's line IF I had to put him in a Penguins uni. Malkin already controls the tempo of the game with his speed. This would give Jagr more room to work.

Jagr wants an increased role and believes the only way he can gauruntee that is by getting at least the money he got this season. Flyers won't
Give him the same number so he's looking.

That seems to be the story based on everything

Christ,at 40 years old he should have been happier than a pig in shit with the minutes he got last year.

With his aggravated groin and other minor ailments, there is no way in hell he can expect a bigger role with the Flyers.IMO it is better for them to give the minutes to the young guys-Read,Wellwood,Coots,etc.that play multiple roles.

Well If Jagr cant take less to try to win a cup with the Flyers then I wish him well.
He had a good year but was invisible when it mattered.

Take the money and go after Gaustad

Another *right* handed magician. ;)

Seriously though, even though I'd love him at the right price, it's not going to happen...I just can't see him out West though. Maybe MTL? Plekanec?

I bet even if Shero has Jagr ready to sign on the dotted line Mario wouldnt allow it.

^^this. As you get older, s*** takes longer to heal - that's the part of getting older that gets old.

Thus ending his career, because we all know that he can't win without Mario carrying him.

Jagr's presence was great in the locker room, but he ran out of steam 20 games before the season was over and was completely ineffectual during the playoffs.

Thanks for filling in. Take care Jaromir. Bye-bye.

I think any team would be lucky to have him. It would be cool to see him play on a line with some veterans though. I wonder if he could click with some of the guys in San Jose or Tampa Bay?

Even if he was predominately a PP specialist, I wouldn't mind it if the Flames threw $3 million his way on a 1 year deal. No more than that, though.

/I think he's staying in the East, though. Likely the Rangers is my bet.

I'd love to have him back, but not at 8 million over two years. He's good, but he's getting up there and he needs to cut back on his minutes, or at least cut back on them early in the season so he's able to contribute more later on in the playoffs. And for the love of God STOP TRYING TO DEKE THREE GUYS AT ONCE.
