Read the Jagr Q & A on the Devils website and he was asked about playing in an 82 game season. He mentioned that he was playing in Europe before the lockout and when you combine that with the NHL season, he played in 105 games last year. He stated that it was his "longest season ever". He still looked pretty good for a 41 year old after playing in 105 games. I'm not worried at all about him. Like Cup noted, he's a guy you pencil in for so many goals and assists and move on. When he was in Philly, the actually gave him his own key to their practice facility. He was always there, a lot of times, the only person skating. The guy may be older but he's in great shape.

Also, regarding his health, you have to figure NJ's travel has to be beneficial to older players. You could go on a 4 game road trip and sleep in your own bed each of those nights.
