Is Wiggins next? And I wonder why so many. Are these freshmen just not developed yet?

It's just a fluke. They've had the age limit for awhile and you might have 1 or 2 guys sustain a serious injury their first year, but I can't imagine that being any different from any other year. Prior to the age limit when you could jump out of HS, same thing. There wasn't a huge rash of injuries. It just so happens that this year we've gotten like 3 or 4, and they all also just happen to big names at the top of the draft so they're more recognizable.

Good kid, good player, just what Milwaukee needed. I hope he comes back completely healthy. I really like the kid from Greece too. Just a couple of really exciting young players. This team was fun to watch.

I feel for him especially his 1st year in the NBA. Im a Bulls fan and know how it feels to lose a young talented player. We lost Rose for 2 years. He injury isn't as bad as Rose and think he will come back fine next year. ACL are now 6-8 months.

DJ is a man trapped in a woman's body.

I was wondering if it was just me, or does it seem like we are seeing more serious injuries earlier in players careers?

I some what agree that I don't think their bodies are ready for the pounding in the NBA. Remember these kids are going from playing 30 games a year to 82+ playoffs if you are lucky. I think its time to make a rule change that u have to at least stay 2 years. Let their body fill out.

I agree. It seems like before the "one and done's", we didn't see as much of this. I think that the one and done kids tend to go earlier in the draft, so more is expected of them and they end up having to play heavy minutes right away.

For example, when Kobe came out of high school, he was a 13th pick and the Lakers had enough that he didn't have to play heavy minutes right away. That's what happened with most of the guys who came out of high school. Nowadays, these guys are expected to play 30+ minutes every night.

Not just you Trojan, I think there is something to this. Have to disagree with Turkey on this.
