It's Hoedown Throwdown Pens at Preds

Fleury's in net (most likely) but otherwise the Pens will have the same lineup as they've had the past week. Orpik should be back for Saturday however. Asham is still a week out, Michalek a week out, and Staal...well, who knows anymore, he's practicing with the team, so it could be sooner than management expected.

Staal may be back before Michalek... from my understanding Michalek is not practicing with the team yet.

Big night for Fleury tonight... he needs to win, but not just win, he needs to play well. The Pens should put a great effort on the ice to help Fleury get his confidence back.

Tangradi better enjoy these last few games in the NHL, once Asham and Staal come back, he'll get sent down. So far, he's been disappointing, and is the only forward that does not have to clear waivers... I'm also thinking Goddard's days are number. With the injury bug, I wouldn't move Talbot or Adams yet, and Engelland and Rupp have played the tough guy role nicely, Rupp fighting Shelley, IMO was Goddard's ticket off the team.

For this game... I see the Pens starting a bit sluggish, will find their legs mid-1st and dictate the game from there on out... 5-2.

Looking forward to a good game tonight. After starting 3-0, Nashville has lost their last two games...both in OT. Preds need a win here tonight before heading to Dallas and then to Tampa Bay. Sucks that Suter will be out tonight. Oh well...GO PREDS!!!

This is fleury's game... unless he's giving up double digit goals, coach won't pull him regardless the score... keep him in to show confidence in the kid... no way he gets yanked (unless injured) tonight.

Goalies are like QBs, even if the WR runs the wrong route, the QB is blamed for all interceptions.. regardless if a defender forgot to pick up his man in front of the goal, every goal is the goalies fault. Fleury probably has given 2 maybe 3 bad goals this year. The montreal goal and the one where his right pad was covering the boards.
