Gotta love Bengals.com.... Read this from Hoard:

Streak Continues For Dominant D

Claiming our D is dominant over the past 5 games..... The offensive ranks of the teams we've played are: 26,19,27, 17, and 30.

Never change Bengals.com, never change.

We'll finish 6-9-1. The propoganda peddlers will praise the resiliency of the team in the face of AJ Green's injury, prop up the performance of the defense during our late "rally", and start kicking tires for next year.

BTW, our all world kicker is about to shatter an NFL record for missed PATs and worst completion percentage on PATs. So we have that going for us.

I agree..... We're going to get our ass kicked on Sunday. We'll then rally to be 'competitive' in Houston the next week and we'll close out the season with a win vs. a dejected Ravens team that was eliminated from the playoffs the week before. This will be cause for celebration in Bengal-land..... Our magical 3-2 finish to the season is going to propel us to greatness next year!

I would root for them to lose out if I knew it would result in changes. But it won't. Marvin will still be here and so will all of the under performing players we all hate.
But look at the schedule. Pitt, Houston, Baltimore. All teams I hate. All teams who are in the playoff race. Since the bengals won't be in the playoffs, they do have a chance to influence who does make it. I'd love to see them ruin the Steelers and Texans seasons.

I agree. But for us to ruin Pittsburgh's season, we probably have to beat them and then lose to Baltimore..... And Baltimore sucks. Losing to them once this season was painful enough.

It would be nice to beat the Texans for once.

People just go to the Bengals games because it gives them a more legitimate reason to get drunk as hell other than going to a bar.

dude tells his wife, "I'm going to the bar to get drunk as hell."
"Ah hell no, the last time you did that you beat the holy crap out of all of us and I woke up in the ER"

dude tells his wife, "I'm going to the Bengals game."
"ok, have a good time honey."

I've been to NFL games in four cities..... This is true everywhere. About 20-30 years ago, most folks at the games were football fans. Plenty of them were drinking beer or carrying a flask, but that's just because that's what they did most of the time. You also didn't see many fights in the stands. Oh, and about 90% of the crowd was men.

Now you go to football games and it's like being at a really shitty nigh-club of twenty-somethings looking to either score or get into a fight. Football is secondary. And the cover charge for the NFL bar is at least 50 bucks and beer is 10 dollars a pop. I find no reason to attend games anymore..... Last time I went was 2013 and I can't see going to another one anytime soon.
