I am Italian and therefore passionate about soccer, so It makes sense if i open the topic of Serie A (the Italian soccer Championship) and will publish the results of each day with a small summary attached.

The Italian championship, like all European championships, has a different structure from the American sports leagues: it is made up only of a regular season in which each team meets all the other teams twice, once at home and once away. For every win you get three points, for every draw one point and for every defeat (obviously) zero points. At the end of the season, whoever finishes first in the standings wins the Cup, whoever finishes in the bottom three is relegated to the lower league and whoever finishes in the top seven qualifies for one of the three European cups of the next season (European cups have a structure more similar to US sports, first you face a small division and then after Christmas the playoffs begin).

In the 80s and 90s the italian championship was the first championship in the world in terms of level and difficulty, today it has fallen between third and fourth position, but it remains the most tactically complex championship according to some great coaches such as José Mourinho.. A championship characterized by grim and tactically very tidy and organized teams (especially in the defensive phase).

I will also select the best goal and the best save every day, in order to make the single athletic gesture enjoyable even for those who are strangers to this sport.

This year the Italian championship started in August and we are already at the ninth day which I am preparing to summarize.

DAY 9

The ninth day of Serie A opens with the victory of reigning champions Napoli, driven by the talent of K'varatskhelia (last season's MVP) who scores the second and third goal as Napoli remains clinging to fourth place. Inter wins in Turin with a solid 3 - 0 and an unstoppable Lautaro Martinez who is increasingly top scorer who guarantees them first place thanks also to the misstep of Milan, who lose at home against Juventus with a bad performance, influenced by the serious error of Thiaw who got himself sent off with the clumsy intervention on Moise Kean.
Atalanta, third in the standings, returns to win, after a tough match they manage to beat Genoa, Lookman finds the goal and his killer instinct is increasingly confirmed (incredible save by the Genoa goalkeeper, Leali, on an excellent back-heel shot by Scamacca ).
Roma and Lazio both win, continuing their path to recovery from a bad start to the season: Roma win against Monza finding an epic goal from El Shaarawy with time almost up. Lazio finds victory against a less resistant Sassuolo thanks to goals from Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson.
The day ends with the Tuscan derby between Fiorentina and Empoli: Empoli surprisingly wins with Caputo leading the way and scoring the first goal.

DAY 10

The tenth day opens with a victory for Genoa against their direct competitor Salernitana. The excellent performance of the Mexican goalkeeper was not enough against an irrepressible Gudmusson.
In advance of Saturday night, Juve grabbed a victory at the end of the minutes with a daring Cambiaso goal, in a match that seemed cursed, thus grabbing second place in the standings (which was first for almost 24 hours).
First victory of the season for Cagliari, which overtakes Salernitana in the standings, finally leaving the last place in the standings: the coach of the Sardinian team, Claudio Ranieri (famous for having won a premier league with Leicester) saves his place which seemed to be in danger thanks to a super Pavoletti who scored two goals at the end of the last minutes, all in an incredible match (full of spectacular goals) which seemed to have been won by Frosinone.
Important draw between Sassuolo and Bologna, one point (nice goal from Zirkzee) which allows the green-blacks to solidify their salvation and the red-blues to overtake Roma in the standings and grab eighth place.
Roma loses in Milan against Inter in an extremely defensive match by the yellow-reds, the black-blues attack a lot and find the goal in the 81st minute with Thuram: three points that keep Inter in first place in the table .
Draw between Napoli and Milan in Sunday night's match, Milan first takes the lead with two goals from the immortal Giroud, and Napoli recovers afterward with two beautiful goals from Politano and Raspadori: a draw that dissatisfies both teams, as well as Milan which moves away from the first position in the ranking, which Napoli loses fourth place.
Fourth place goes to Atalanta after the convincing victory against Empoli by three to zero, with a brace from Scamacca who also allows himself the luxury of scoring a wonderful goal with his heel.
Lazio Fiorentina concludes the tenth day, a blocked match which sees the white-blues grab the three points of victory in the last minute of injury time, with a penalty effectively taken by striker Ciro Immobile. After this complicated match against Fiorentina, Lazio overtakes the hated cousins of Roma in the standings.

Best Save: Guillermo Ochoa (min 0:04 of this video)

Best Goal: Gianluca Scamacca (min 0:13 of this video )

How is Lukaku doing for Roma? Is Tammy Abraham still injured. Curious which of those is the likely starter when both are fit.

Lukaku in the Roma dimension is a hammer, he is almost always scoring: in nine games (eight as a starter) he has scored six goals and won the roma's "player of the month".

Tammy started doing some timid training again a month ago, we'll see him again in 2024.

Personally I have no doubts about which of the two would play as starter under equal conditions, Lukaku is much more devastating (at least for our championship, made up of lined up defenses and very crowded penalty areas, where physique and knowing how to contrast count a lot for a forward).

DAY 11

The eleventh matchday of Serie A opens with a defeat for Lazio against Bologna, Lazio losing important points on their home pitch against a Bologna who took the lead with Ferguson.
Milan also lost important points at home against an Udinese team prepared to perfection by coach Cioffi to leave the San Siro stadium with the three points, all thanks to a penalty converted by Pereira, but above all thanks to the saves of goalkeeper Silvestri.
Inter, first in the standings, won, scoring twice (the one scored by Lautaro Martinez was wonderful) against Atalanta for whom Scamacca's goal was not enough to fix the result.
Second victory in a row for Cagliari who in just two days overturned the lower part of the standings going from being last to being in the safety zone and leaving Salernitana last in the standings who lost against a solid Napoli (Napoli who remain stuck in fourth position in the standings), the Sardinian team coached by coach Claudio Ranieri beat Genoa by two goals to one, despite the great performance of the Genoa goalkeeper, Leali, and the beautiful goal by Gudmusson.
Verona also remains second to last in the standings, losing to a spirited Monza and driven by Colombo's extraordinary goals.
Roma makes a leap in the standings, winning a match against Lecce that seemed lost and taking advantage of the defeats of Lazio, Milan and Atalanta. The team coached by coach José Mourinho scores two goals at the end of extra time, after they were risking losing by one to zero.
Juventus found victory again, attacking little and defending a lot against Fiorentina, but won with Miretti's first career goal, confirming their place in second place in the standings.
In the two matches on Monday, Frosinone and Torino win, both finding themselves at 15 points in the standings: Frosinone is confirming everything it had demonstrated at the start of the season, winning against Empoli finding two goals, including a wonderful one performed by Çuni who had never scored in Serie A.
Torino finds three very important points in order not to break away from the mid-table and remain in the fight to access the European cups, and they do so by winning against a Sassuolo who are anything but demotivated and rediscovering their attack with two goals scored by Vlasic and Sanabria.

DAY 12

The twelfth day of Serie A opens with two important matches for the safety zone: Salernitana scores two goals but is recovered by Sassuolo thanks to Thorstvedt who scored two goals, a masterful performance from Salernitana goalkeeper Ochoa who with his saves is decisive for the result. Genoa wins against Verona by one to zero, thus getting closer to the goal of salvation and relegating the Venetian team further and further to the bottom of the table.
Lecce's sensational result against Milan, the devil won after an aggressive first half thanks to goals from Giroud and Reijnders (and an incredible save from Maignan) but Lecce found the equalizer in the 69th minute with a beautiful goal from Banda (and for a short does not win with Piccoli's third goal, later cancelled).
On Saturday night Juventus won 2-1 and found themselves first in the standings for 24 hours: they played a tough match against Cagliari which they only managed to break the deadlock in the second half thanks to a headed goal by Bremer.
Incredible defeat for Napoli against a spirited Empoli, the Italian champion team encountered first Berisha's fantastic saves and then a masterful goal from Kovalenko, which allowed the Tuscan team to collect three golden points to stay in the safety zone.
Monza and Torino draw and continue to float in mid-table, with a nice goal from the Monza striker named Colpani, a player to watch.
Another stop for Atalanta in Udine, the team coached by Gasperini initially went one goal behind, even risking taking the second if it weren't for a true miracle from goalkeeper Carnesecchi, but equalized thanks to a good goal from Ederson in the recovery times.
The capital derby ends with an insipid draw without goals, Lazio and Roma play not to lose in a very close match.
In Sunday night's match Inter won 2-0, confirming themselves as the strongest team in the championship and remaining alone in first place in the standings, the goal scored by Di Marco was incredible.

DAY 13

the thirteenth matchday of Serie A opens with Lazio's sensational defeat against Salernitana, leaving important points in the standings: the team coached by Sarri struggles to produce play but also struggles to defend, the penalty scored by Immobile is not enough and Salernitana first equalizes and then gets three points (very important to avoid falling behind in the battle for survival) thanks to a beautiful shot from outside the area by Candreva.
Napoli wins in Bergamo against Atalanta: With the arrival (or rather the return) of the new coach Mazzarri, the Italian team regains its determination and lights up its champions, finds the first goal with Kvaratskhelia, concedes the equalizer with a good blow lookman's header, and finds the winning goal with Elmas twenty minutes from the end, remaining firmly in fourth place in the standings, fourth place away from Atalanta.
Milan won against Fiorentina finding a one-nil in a difficult match and in which Maignan (like Terracciano) had to work hard to avoid the risk of losing.
Cagliari drew against Monza, the team coached by Ranieri played a difficult match in which the goalkeepers of the two teams were often opposed to scoring, and found a golden point to stay ahead of their direct competitors.
Frosinone continues its incredible season by winning against Genoa and finishing tenth in the standings: Malinovskyi's spectacular goal is not enough for the red and blue griffin to avoid defeat and suffers first an incredible goal from Soulè, and then one from Monterisi as time expires .
Sassuolo also won as time expired, finding victory in the 92nd minute against Empoli after an intense match full of goals.
Roma coached by José Mourinho wins by three to one and takes advantage of the defeat of Atalanta, Lazio and Fiorentina to climb to fifth place: the yellow-reds play against a Udinese team that this year is unable to solve their problems, the action that leads to Dybala's goal, with an excellent assist from Lukaku.
A very "Italian" match between Juventus and Inter: orderly and concentrated defenses, few actions in attack but well constructed and dangerous and a lot of tactics, the match ends one by one with goals from Vlahovic for Juve and Lautaro Martinez (currently top scorer) for Inter and the two teams remain first and second at the top of the table.
Draw between Verona and Lecce, they take a more useful point for the Puglia team than for the Venetian team. A very intense match, full of goals and good saves, Oudin's goal was wonderful.
Bologna wins in Monday night's match against Torino. Vlasic's great goal was of little use and then canceled out due to Sanabria's offside, Bologna found the advantage in the second half first with Fabian and then with Zirkzee

DAY 14

The fourteenth matchday of Serie A opens with Juventus' incredible victory against Monza. The black-and-whites, who had been winning since the first half, took the goal a few minutes from time, but a daring move, one minute from the end, led Gatti to score the winning goal. Worth mentioning is Di Gregorio's incredible double save on the penalty taken by Vlahovic. Juventus once again finds the three points to continue chasing Inter.

Salvation clash between Genoa and Empoli. Genoa first found the advantage with an incredible shot from Malinovs'kyj, then Empoli equalized with a header from Cancellieri, a point that both teams need to try to stay in Serie A.
Lazio wins against Cagliari in a tense match which, despite many attacking attempts, the Biancocelesti never manage to close after scoring the first goal. However, the team coached by Sarri finds the three points that allow it to catch up with Atalanta, while Cagliari returns to the red zone of the standings.

Milan wins against a Frosinone team that until now was surprising in the league: first Maignan saved the result with a great save, then Jovic took advantage of a good ball that ended up in the area to score the first of Milan's three goals (Jovic himself also scored the assist for the second goal). Milan finds the three points to test third place in the standings.

Bologna stops once again, a team that is always potential but which then never materializes. The rossoblù drew in Lecce in a heated and particular match. Bologna took the lead with a beautiful free kick from Lykogiannis. But then, in one of Lecce's last moves in the fifth minute of injury time, goalkeeper Falcone (who had moved into the opponent's area) receives a foul and the referee whistles a penalty for the yellow-reds, who equalize.

Lots of goals in Udine in the match between Udines and Verona which ended in a draw: after the first two goals from the Bianconeri, Đurić reopened the match with a penalty and Ngonge scored the equalizer with a sublime play. Udinese then found the third goal with a beautiful header from Lucca and Verona equalized with the game almost over with Henry.

At the Artemio Franchi stadium in Florence, Fiorentina meets Salernitana and wins. The Viola started well immediately with a penalty scored by Beltran, and despite Ochoa's great saves, they found a spectacular second goal from Sottil, and a third goal with Bonaventura. Salernitana struggles to score points and begins to sink in the standings.

Roma coached by José Mourinho continues to win and convince, this time away against an unexpectedly defensive Sassuolo. The green-blacks found the advantage with, but in the second half (also thanks to the numerical superiority due to Henrique's expulsion) Roma attacked, managing to come back and win the match thanks to a penalty taken by Dybala and a great performance by Kristensen. Roma reaches fourth place in the standings.

Inter perform like champions as they win at Napoli. First Sommer makes a great save from Kvaratskhelia's shot, then Çalhanoğlu finds the net with an incredible shot. Barella (with top-level play) and Thuram also score later. The black and blues confirm themselves first in the standings and the strongest team in the league.

Loses and disappoints Atalanta in Turin in the Monday night match. A convincing Torino who immediately found the advantage with Zapata, reiterated with a penalty from Sanabria and concluded with a great goal again from Zapata.

DAY 15

The fifteenth day opens with the big match between Juventus and Napoli: the black and whites win a match faced with their usual compact and defensive attitude and find the goal with Gatti, but they have to thank the errors of the Napoli attackers and the incredible Schezny saves Di Lorenzo's shot.

Lazio, looking for a victory to move up to fourth place, meets Verona. The blue and white found a greater offensive offering compared to the last few games, but they did not go beyond Zaccagni's beautiful goal, then Henry equalized for Verona and it ended 1 - 1.

Great evening in Bergamo on the occasion of Atalanta Milan, a match full of goals and spectacular actions, Atalanta started by scoring with Lookman but Milan found the equalizer with Giroud. Lookman doubles the lead with a second goal but Milan (saved by a miraculous save from Maignan) gets back to a draw. But at the end of time Mirančuk and Muriel scored a sensational goal, bringing the three points to the black and blue.

There is no story for Udinese who meets Inter at the San Siro stadium, Inter who first finds the penalty with Lautaro Martinez (then scored by Çalhanoğlu), then doubles the lead with a beautiful diagonal shot from Di Marco and in the end spreads to win by 4 - 0. The Black and Blues are increasingly the first force in the championship, and remain first in the standings.

Draw at the Benito Stirpe stadium between Frosinone and Torino, the yellow-blues attempt various attacks, especially with the conclusions of Kaio Jorge, but the goalkeeper Milinković-Savić opposes several times, then Torino risks scoring a goal with a shot from Ilic but takes full on the pole. A golden point for Frosinone who as newly promoted to Serie A are having a great championship, a little less for Torino who have been struggling for years to find aspirations that go beyond salvation.

Tense match between Monza and Genoa. The griffin tries to attack but the Argentine center forward Retegui wastes the opportunities. Then Colpani, Pereira and Dany Mota produced an action that resulted in a textbook goal for Monza, who found the three points and got closer to the European zone of the standings, Genoa remained in the safety zone thanks to the great start, but had to find ways to be more productive in terms of goals.

Bologna starts off strong in Salerno against Salernitana: the red and blue immediately find the goal with Zirkzee who scores a brace a few minutes later by dribbling past the goalkeeper. Salernitana's goal scored by Simy is of little use (excellent assist from Candreva who makes a real defensive play), Salernitana sinks further and further into last place in the standings while Bologna flies to fourth place on equal points with Roma.

Roma started well against Fiorentina, finding a well-constructed goal in the first minutes and making a mistake shortly after the opportunity to score the second. But in the twenty-fifth minute Dybala's injury changed the match. In the second half, Fiorentina scored a headed goal with Martinez and Roma received two expulsions, finishing the match with nine players but bringing home the equaliser.

Hard-fought match between Empoli and Lecce. In the first 60 minutes both teams created opportunities but, thanks to their respective goalkeepers Berisha and Falcone, no goals were seen. Then Empoli goalkeeper Berisha himself makes a mistake and doesn't hold back a poisonous (but central) shot from Banda. But then Empoli, aided by luck, found the equalizer with a deflection from Rafia on Cambiaghi's cross: an important point for both teams, Empoli managed to float below the safety zone and Lecce kept their opponents at arm's length. rivals with peace of mind.

Sassuolo arrives in Cagliari, scoring from a corner with a header from Erlic just after being denied the goal by a sensational save from Scuffet. But Cagliari did not give up and looked for a goal: first with a header by Pavoletti intercepted by the green-black defensive wall, then (after a goal disallowed against Sassuolo due to offside) with a spirited play by Luvumbo who sent an excellent cross to Lapadula who scores in the 94th minute and finally in the 97th minute with an epic overhead kick by Pavoletti that gives Cagliari three very important points that keep the symbolic team of Sardinia in the safety zone.

DAY 16

Juventus does not go beyond the draw against Genoa. First a gross mistake by the red-blue defender Badelj causes the penalty in favor of Juventus scored by Chiesa, then Genoa responds with an all-volley action that leads to Guðmundsson's goal.

Frosinone loses the direct clash for salvation against Lecce, a poor performance from the yellow-blue goalkeeper Marco Turati, who with two errors (one of which at the end of the half) caused Lecce's two goals and let his team out team with zero points, being overtaken in the standings by the yellow-red wolves of Lecce.

Napoli wins against a rocky and tough Cagliari who were snatching a draw at the Maradona stadium. The Azzurri took the lead with a header from Osimhen which became a goal, but Cagliari responded with a low cross and a tap in from Pavoletti for the equaliser. However, as time expired, Napoli created an excellent goal with a spectacular play by Osimhen which became a perfect assist for K'varatskhelia who scored and brought the three points to Napoli who remain stuck in fifth place behind Bologna.

Torino wins against Empoli: Bellanova soon finds the right cross for Zapata's head who scores for Torino. Empoli responds by putting Cancellieri in front of Torino goalkeeper Milinković-Savić, but the action fails to score and Milinković takes the ball away from the attacker's feet. The match ends with the third consecutive victory for Torino which goes to ninth place, two points behind Roma.

Milan wins against Monza, the black devils attack from the first minute and soon find the goal with a great play by Reijnders. The Devils risk doubling their lead with Theo Hernandez if it weren't for a great save from Monza goalkeeper Di Gregorio. Di Gregorio also finds two more spectacular saves on two shots from Florenzi, but it is of little use in the face of Milan's attacking fury who soon finds the double with Simic (debut in Serie A) and then the third goal with Giroud (after yet another great Maignan parade). Milan still finds the three points to remain firmly in third place.

Incredible match for Fiorentina against a combative Verona. Viola goalkeeper Terracciano saves his team with three spectacular saves (one of which was a penalty) which renders the Veronese's offensive production sterile. Then ten minutes from the end Fiorentina found the winning shot with a great shot from Beltran, overtaking Roma in the standings and sinking Verona into penultimate place from which they struggled to escape.

Draw between Udinese and Sassuolo. Black and White who immediately find the goal with a header from Lucca following a cross from Pereyra. In the second half, Pereyra again scores a splendid goal and doubles the lead for Udinese, but Sassuolo recovers first with two penalties converted by Berardi. The two teams find a rather important point, given their dangerous proximity to the last three places in the table.

Roma loses in Bologna, after about thirty minutes of a hard-fought match, Bologna confuses Roma with a lightning counterattack and finds Moro's goal. In the second half, Roma defender Kristensen made a mistake, deflecting the ball into the goal and scoring an own goal. 2-0 for Bologna who demonstrate a superior game compared to Roma (who however were missing many players): the red and blue fly alone to fourth place in the standings.

At the Olympic stadium in Rome, the Milan international team wins against Lazio: Lautaro Martinez intercepts a bad pass from the blue and white team and scores the first goal for Inter. Then, after Sommer defends the black and blue goal twice, Thuram finds the second goal, game and three points. Inter continues its string of victories, remaining alone first in the standings.

Atalanta triumph against Salernitana. The match seems to be on the right track for Salernitana when first Costil saves a header from Lookman and then Pirola finds a great goal from a cross from Candreva, thus finding the advantage for the garnet colored team. But the blue-black goddess continues to attack, finding the equalizer with a great shot from Muriel. Pasalic subsequently scored the second goal with a precision strike to the far post, and finally De Ketelaere and Mirančuk finished the matter and Atalanta won 4 - 1, moving up to seventh place in the table and overtaking Roma.

DAY 17

the seventeenth matchday of Serie A begins with a victory for Lazio in Empoli. After a sumptuous move rejected several times by the Empoli defense, it led to Guendouzi's goal.
Lazio's goalkeeper, Provedel, makes a couple of crucial saves for the victory of Sarri's team which ultimately leads to 2-0, remaining tied to the European positions and throwing Empoli into a difficult situation in the standings

In Sassuolo Genoa makes an incredible comeback, the green-blacks start off great, with an all-vertical action by Laurienté who, having reached the end, passes the ball to Pinamonti who makes no mistake. But in the second half Genoa found the equalizer thanks to a penalty, and at the end a heel from Guðmundsson lit the way for Ekuban who scored the winning goal. Genoa finds three points against a Sassuolo who is increasingly turning into a direct competitor for salvation.

Fiorentina wins in Monza with cynicism, Beltran takes advantage of an error by Monza goalkeeper Di Gregorio who misses the pass to his teammate and has it intercepted. Goal for the Viola, Monza is unable to attack effectively, three golden points for Fiorentina who remain firmly in fifth place.

In Salerno, Milan did not go beyond a draw. The red-blacks started well and quickly found the goal, but Salernitana did not give up and found the equalizer from a corner. Subsequently, Salernitana again finds the goal with Candreva with the complicity of Milan goalkeeper Maignan who commits a serious mistake. At the end Milan managed to grab the equalizer with Jović. A point that allows Milan to have a minimum of stability in third place, and which instead allows Salernitana not to feel completely out of the game.

Juventus wins in Frosinone. Yildiz dribbles past three yellow-blue defenders with one move, and only in front of the goalkeeper does he not make a mistake. Frosinone did not give up and in the second half Monterisi created the perfect assist for Báez who scored and grabbed the equalizer. The draw was only temporary as Vlahovic found the goal with a header at the end: three points for Juve who remained firmly in second place. Frosinone remains in the safety zone, but is no longer the rampant team at the beginning of the season (also thanks to goalkeeper Turati who has started making mistakes).

In Turin, the game lights up towards the end against Udinese, with the two teams not creating too many chances until the black and white score thanks to play on the flanks, with Ferreira sinking and then making a great cross for Oier Zarraga who scores . But it didn't take long for Torino to equalize with Ilic who wanted to make a cross but scored a goal (even if we'll never know the full extent). A point that is needed more by Udinese than by Torino.

Bologna, at home, faces Atalanta. The black and blues attacked throughout the match, but it was the red and blues who found the winning goal with a header scored by Ferguson from a corner. Zirkzee as usual delivers excellent plays despite Bologna's more defensive than offensive performance: Bologna remains in fourth position thanks to these three points.

In Milan there is no story for Lecce who played, and lost, against Inter. After some slight difficulties, the Nerazzurri scored with Bisseck and doubled the lead with Barella following a wonderful assist from Arnautovic. Inter remains first in the standings, aware of their strength.

Verona Beats Cagliari: after a balanced first half, Verona finds the way to the goal with Ngonge and the second goal with Djuric (protagonist in this match). Challenge between direct competitors for salvation entirely in favor of the Yellow-blue.

Roma wins against the Italian champions and convinces in the game. After multiple missed opportunities, the yellow-reds found the goal in a daring move. Towards the end, Napoli became more offensive and Roma took advantage of it. Three excellent points for the team coached by José Mourinho, also with a view to a direct clash to go to the Champions
League.

Thanks and best wishes for a merry Christmas

DAY 18

The eighteenth matchday of Serie A opens with a victory for Fiorentina over Torino. In a stadium packed with people, the two teams face each other in a match where Fiorentina attacks more, but which overall remains a balanced match. But in the final ten minutes Ranieri found the winning move with a header that found its way into the net. Three important points for the Viola who remain attached to the European areas of the table.

Napoli's draw was incredible, stopping against a Monza team that is never easy to face. The attacks starting from the outside position on the left produced by Kvaratskhelia are sterile, just as the penalty taken by Pessina is sterile. A point for Napoli who are starting to find themselves a little too far from fourth position.

At the Marassi stadium, Inter stopped against a grim Genoa team coached by Alberto Gilardino. At the end of a first half that wasn't too productive for Inter (also due to the saves of the red-blue goalkeeper Martinez), the black-and-blues found a goal from Arnautović on a somewhat dirty move. But no sooner did half-time arrive than Genoa equalised, from a corner, with Drăgușin. A useful point for Genoa but harmful for Inter's championship run with Juventus behind them.

A good match between Lazio and Frosinone is taking place at the Olympic stadium in Rome. The blue and white looked for offensive production in the first half, but without achieving much. Frosinone then took the lead with a goal from a penalty kicked by the talented Soule. At the end of the match Lazio first equalized with a splendid header from Castellanos, and then Castellanos himself took advantage of a gift from the yellow-blue defense and made an assist for Isaksen who scored the 2 - 1 (first goal in Serie A) . It ends with the third goal, Patrick from a corner. Lazio gets the three points to stay in the European fight while Frosinone is once again left empty-handed and shows that they have entered a downward phase.

Atalanta wins against Lecce. The goddess produces a lot in offensive terms, collecting a prodigious goal from Lookman. Then, also thanks to some great saves from Carnesecchi, he defends the result by taking home three important points to stay in the running for the European areas of the table, while Lecce loses the opportunity to overtake its direct competitor from Genoa.

Cagliari crashes against Empoli, or rather against Empoli's goalkeeper, Caprile.
Draw for the two teams, a point won by the incredible performance of the blue and white goalkeeper who also saved a penalty. A useful point from a safety perspective for both teams.

Udinese flies against Bologna. Pereyra, Lucca and Payero bomb the red-blue's goal, obtaining a resounding three to zero. Bologna not arriving, stops its ride, Udinese finding three points to be able to get back up from a position that was starting to be worrying.

Milan needed 59 minutes to break the deadlock in the match against Sassuolo, after two goals disallowed for offside, the winning play fell to Pulisic, who made no mistakes and brought home the three points which allow the Rossoneri to hold onto third place in the standings.

Salernitana wins in Verona. After a rather balanced start to the match, the seahorses broke the deadlock with an incredible shot from outside the area by Tchaouna. Verona tries to recover it, but Salernitana, thanks to an incredible save from the grenade colored goalkeeper, Costil. three very important points of salvation for Salernitana, obtained over a direct competitor.

Roma loses in Turin against Juve. The black and whites play their usual game, defensively solid and offensively cynical, and find the goal at the start of the second half with Rabiot. Roma also produces and tries to build some good actions, but does not materialize and loses the possibility of gaining very good positions in the rankings. Juve instead finds the three points to close on first p
lace Inter.

DAY 19

The nineteenth matchday, the last of the first round, opens with yet another stoppage by Bologna who drew against Genoa at the Bentegodi stadium. Gudmundsson finds the goal for the Griffin with a free kick taken as a cross, but no one touches it and the cross ends up in the net. Genoa's goalkeeper, Martinez, seems to have put a spell on his hands as he blocks any shot aimed at his own goal. But in injury time De Silvestri found the winning shot during a somewhat disorderly move and equalised. One point each, good for Genoa and salvation, a little less good for Bologna and their fourth place ambitions.

At the San Siro stadium, Inter immediately took the lead against Verona thanks to Lautaro Martinez. But in the 73rd minute Verona appeared in the opponent's area and found the equalizer with Henry. The last 30 minutes of the match became intense and in injury time the Verona goalkeeper, Montipò, did not hold onto a ball which bounced off Frattesi and was Inter's second goal. The penalty awarded to Verona a few minutes later and missed by Henry was of little use. Three more points for Inter who remain undisputed first. Verona narrowly loses a golden point that would have been important for salvation.

Monza wins in Frosinone. A game that has two protagonists, one positive and one negative. Dany Mota of Monza had a positive performance, scoring and also making an assist. On the negative side, Soule, from Frosinone, found himself at fault in two of the three goals conceded, one because he lost the ball and the other because he scored the own goal. after going three goals down, Frosinone attempted a comeback but it was of little use. Monza continues to grind out its points and perhaps even sees a way to Europe, Frosinone has now finished its ascending phase, and has been suffering for a few days.

Draw between Lecce and Cagliari. Lecce taking the lead from an inactive ball in the first half. In the 37th minute the now no longer so promising, Krstovic, misses a sensational opportunity by throwing it out of the door. At the end of the match, Cagliari found Oristanio's goal in a messy move in the Lecce area. One point each, and Cagliari overtakes Verona.

Sassuolo won against Fiorentina, finding the goal in the first minutes with a very precise shot from Pinamonti. After two goals disallowed for the green and black, Fiorentina had the opportunity to equalize thanks to a penalty, but Consigli saved the penalty shot by Bonaventura. Sassuolo takes home the three points of safety while Fiorentina loses important points with a view to fourth place.

Milan wins easily in Empoli. After ten minutes Loftus-Cheek already scores the first goal with an assist from Leao. Penalty converted by Giroud, Empoli occasionally looks forward but with little success. Traore scores the Rossoneri's third goal on a counterattack and everyone goes home. Empoli desperate and second to last in the standings, Milan firmly in third place.

Lazio gets the three points in Udine. At the first half, a very precise, low free kick from Pellegrini allowed the blue-and-whites to take the lead. Udinese then equalized from a free kick, but Lazio found the lead with an amazing play from Vecino with a quarter of an hour to go. Udinese, which hovers in dangerous areas of the league table, loses the three points, those three points which allow Lazio to overtake their hated cousins Roma in the league table.

Torino wins against Napoli. At the Comunale stadium, a great match was staged by the garnet-coloured team, which annihilated the Italian champions Napoli and towards the end of the first half found the opening goal with Sanabria. In the second half they double the score with a valuable goal from Vlasic and then close with the third goal from a corner. Three points for a Turin chasing dreams of European ranking, while Napoli enters a deep crisis.

Juventus faces a tough match against Salernitana. Salernitana took the lead with a fantastic goal from outside the area by Maggiore. The same Major who, however, then gets himself expelled, leaving his team with ten men. At that point Juventus took advantage of their numerical superiority, first finding the equalizer with Iling Jr, and then the winning goal with a header from Vlahovic. Salernitana in the abyss of last place, Juventus who instead find the three points to remain attached behind Inter.

Roma did not go beyond the draw against Atalanta. The black and blues found the goal on their first offensive action with a header from the omnipresent Koopmeiners. Then the yellow-reds equalize with a penalty converted by Dybala. Roma attacks but doesn't find the second goal. A point for both but it gives little

DAY 20

The twentieth day of Serie A begins with a victory for Napoli in the derby against a combative Salernitana team. The garnet colored team started well with a great goal from Candreva. But Napoli attacked and equalized first with a penalty converted by Politano and then with a goal found late in the game by Rrahmani. Napoli finds three important points to chase fourth place while Salernitana continues to sink to the bottom of the table.

In Genoa, Torino draws against Genoa in a match full of plays but without goals. The offensive attempts of the red-blue team with their striker Guðmundsson were interesting, but the potatoes of Torino goalkeeper Milinković-Savić proved decisive for the result. One point each, Torino moves away from their European dreams while Genoa maintains a good gap from the relegation zone.

Verona wins against Empoli. The yellow-blue team immediately found the goal on a corner with Djuric and subsequently doubled the score with a shot from outside the area by Ngonge. Empoli's found goal is of little use. Verona finds three points in a direct battle for survival against an Empoli team that seems to have no success this season.

Inter dominates in Monza and starts immediately with a penalty converted by Calhanoglu and a goal by Lautaro Martinez following a great cross by Di Marco, all in the first thirteen minutes. In the second half the black and blues spread with three more goals and the Penalty converted by Pessina and the super save by goalkeeper Sorrentino were of little use. Inter, now on course for three points, remains at the top of the table.

Lazio finds a difficult victory against Lecce. The two teams attack each other but it is the blue and white who break the deadlock with their vertical passes that send Felipe Melo into the goal.

Cagliari wins against Bologna, but Bologna starts off strong: they find Orsolini's great goal in the twenty-third minute. Cagliari is quick to respond with a vertical pass that leaves Petagna with an open field and free to go for a goal. But in the sixty-eighth minute, Bologna defender Calafiori scores an own goal that weighs like a boulder. Three points to Cagliari who believe in salvation, while Bologna begins to fall from dreams to meet realities.

A spectacular match takes place in Florence between Fiorentina and Udinese. the black and white team soon finds the counterattack which allows Lovric to score a goal. But in the second half Beltran finds a precise header that allows the equalizer. Following an excellent play by Lovric on the right flank of the pitch, Thauvin receives a golden ball and scores a goal with precision, but Fiorentina finds a penalty converted by Nzola. 2 to 2, one point each which is of little use to both.

Roma loses at the San Siro stadium against Milan. The red and black team immediately scored a goal with a shot from outside by Adlii, then doubling the score in the second half with Giroud. The penalty converted by Paredes was of little use, because in an aggressive counterattack, Milan found the third goal with Hernandez. Three points which give Milan peace of mind in third place, Roma which complicates their position in the standings compared to fourth place.

Atalanta wins at home against Frosinone, they quickly find a penalty converted by Koopmeiners, in twelve minutes the black and blue team doubles their lead with Ederson's header following Ruggeri's cross. Barely a minute passes and De Ketelaere scores the goal to make it 3-0. The match ends 5-0 for Atalanta, who are now seriously fighting for fourth place in the standings. Frosinone is now in crisis.

Juve played a disruptive match against Sassuolo: Vlahovic immediately scored a great goal from outside the area in the fourteenth minute.
twenty minutes pass in which Juventus defends well, and Vlahovic always converts a free kick from the right side into a goal. The black and white team then scores the third goal with Chiesa. Three points to stay behind Inter, in second place in the standings, while Sassuolo remains too close to the relegation zone.

DAY 21

the twenty-first matchday of Serie A was incomplete. Four matches remain to be played in the future, respectively: Bologna VS Fiorentina, Turin VS Lazio, Sassuolo VS Napoli and Inter BS Atalanta. This happened as Napoli, Inter, Fiorentina and Lazio were in Saudi Arabia to play the Italian Super Cup.

Roma, with their new coach and former legend Daniele De Rossi, finds the three points at home against Verona. In the first half the yellow-red team applies a dense network of passes, keeps the ball a lot and finds several opportunities, immediately realizing a good one in which El Shaarawy sinks down the left lane to enter the penalty area and finally grants an assist to Lukaku who does not he makes a mistake and scores. A few minutes pass and Lukaku sinks down the left lane before putting in a good cross and Pellegrini takes advantage and scores. In the second half Roma fell and Verona tried to emerge but missed a penalty and managed to score only one goal. Roma celebrate their first victory with De Rossi as coach and return to hoping for fourth place, while Verona remains floating in third position in the standings.

Milan won with difficulty in Udine, the Rossoneri team started strong with Loftus-Cheek who took advantage of a low cross from Hernandez and scored the one nil. Udinese, however, did not give up and scored the equalizer with a splendid move by Samardžić. Udinese also took the lead with a goal from Thauvin who found great play starting from the right. Milan did not give up and found the equalizer with Jovic and the lead in the third minute of injury time with Okafor. Three points that bring Milan closer to rival Juventus while Udinese floats dangerously in the relegation zone.

Cagliari started strong in Frosinone, immediately finding Sulemana's goal with a throw into the area from the left. Initially, Cagliari seemed to be able to defend the result thanks to an important save by Scuffet and the cancellation of a goal by the yellow-blue team. But the second half speaks a different language: first Mazzitelli, captain of Frosinone, finds the equalizer with a great header, then Soulé takes an excellent free kick to find the advantage and finally the yellow-blue players find the third goal on a counterattack, killing the match. Three points for Frosinone who wins a direct battle for survival, confirming a very good season so far.

Empoli takes to the field with their new coach Nicola to face Monza. Twelve minutes pass and Empoli striker Zurkowski immediately scores a spectacular goal with a precise volley. Monza's offensive attempt through an action by Compagni is of little use, because Zurkowski always follows an action on the counterattack, taking advantage of an excellent low cross and also scoring the two-nil. Monza commits suicide in the second half by having a pass intercepted in their own area and allowing Empoli to make it three-nil, always on the counterattack and again by Zurkowski. While Monza loses three points but floats in mid-table, Empoli turns their season around and gets back into the game to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

Salernitana hosts Genoa and starts strong, scoring a goal in the first minute with Martegani. However, Salernitana's advantage did not last more than ten minutes because Genoa's striker, Retegui, found the equalizer with a shot that the goalkeeper touched but was unable to save. In the second half, Genoa got a penalty from Lovato's touch, and Guðmundsson converted it to make it two-one. Salernitana's attempts to attack through Candreva's plays and Maggiore's insertions are of little use. Genoa wins a heavy direct clash and sends Salernitana further into the abyss.

Juventus is overwhelming in Lecce. After a somewhat lackluster first half, with a couple of opportunities from Mc Kennie and Kostic, in the second half the black and white team spreads attacking and finding a rebound goal with Vlahovic, the same Vlahovic who finds the second goal with a tap in on a cross by McKennie. Finally Juventus closes the match with Bremer. Three points for the Bianconeri who are virtually in first position while waiting for their rivals Inter to recover the match. Lecce who can't resist and can't find points in the fight for salvation.

DAY 22

The twenty-second matchday of Serie A opens in Cagliari, where Torino immediately finds the advantage through Zapata who takes advantage of the cross performed by a fantastic Bellanova after a ride down the right lane. Torino continues to attack, and although Cagliari's goalkeeper, Scuffet, opposes with a couple of important saves, in the end he gives in by making a mistake on Ricci's shot which makes it two-nil. Petagna's attempts and Viola's goal for Cagliari are of little use, because Torino wins two to one, takes the three points and begins to glimpse European horizons, while Cagliari takes a cold shower remaining third from last in the standings.

Atalanta hosts Udinese and deservedly wins a well-played match. The black-and-blue goddess immediately looks for the goal with a powerful shot first by Scamacca, and then with an incursion by Scalvini. In the thirty-third minute De Ketelaere finds the winning assist for Miranchuk and it's one nil. Just over ten minutes pass and Scamacca doubles the lead with a powerful, narrow shot. The offensive attempts of the black and white team and Okoye's super save are of little use. Atalanta takes home the three points again, continuing their fight for a place in the Champions League, while Udinese, on the other hand, hangs dangerously in third-to-last place in the standings.

Juventus stops against a super Empoli. After a good save by Caprile on a free kick by Vlahovic, and another by Szczęsny, Juventus (playing with ten men due to Milik's expulsion) found the opening goal with Vlahovic. But just over ten minutes passed and Empoli's young talent, Baldanzi, found the equalizer with a shot from outside the area of extreme precision and beauty. Juventus stops with a point which is of little use, while Empoli continues their positive streak, gaining hope for the goal of salvation.

Bologna and Milan also stop each other. The Rossoneri immediately started attacking with Leao, but it was Bologna who found the first goal, after a siege, with a narrow shot from Zirkzee. The referee then awards a penalty to Milan, Giroud beats it but misses, but shortly after the red-black team finds the equalizer with Loftus-Cheek. In the second half, after a missed goal by Zirkzee, a post hit by Reijnders and a second missed penalty by Hernandez, Milan found the goal of the momentary victory again with Loftus-Cheek, but at the end Bologna also won a penalty which Orsolini transforms. Two by two and one point for the teams to enter, remaining in the European zone.

In Genoa, Lecce started strongly by winning a penalty kick in the seventeenth minute, but Krstovic missed badly. Ten minutes later Krstovic himself throws a bomb at Genoa defender Gendrey and the deflection finds the lucky goal. Genoa tries to find the equalizer with a left-footed shot from outside the area by Malinovs'kyj, but the shot hits the post. In the seventieth minute Genoa found the equalizing goal with Retegui who reiterated a free kick from Malinovs'kyj hit the crossbar into the goal. Only six minutes pass and Retegui finds an assist for Ekuban who scores the winning goal. Second consecutive victory for Genoa and third consecutive defeat for Lecce, heaven and hell in a direct clash.

At the Bentegodi stadium, a tight match between Verona and Frosinone. In the thirty-fifth minute Verona earns a penalty which is shot by Duda, but Turati saves it skilfully. After ten minutes Verona earns a second penalty for a handball, this time Suslov takes it and makes no mistake: one nil for Verona. In the second half, after a great save by Montipò following a shot by Lazio Jorge, Kaio Jorge himself finds the winning header from a corner. A point for both teams in a survival clash that ends without too much damage, but also without too many advantages for both teams.

Monza plays and wins against Sassuolo. The red and white team looks for offensive solutions deriving from the plays of Colpani and Birindelli. Sassuolo responds with a dangerous shot from Thorstvedt. In the twenty-first minute the Monza player, Birindelli, finds a great cross for Dany Mota who scores, but the goal is disallowed for offside. Sassuolo responds with another shot from Thorstvedt which hits the post powerfully. But in the thirtieth position the talented Colpani finds the winning goal with a diagonal shot of rare beauty. The red and whites regain victory and position themselves in a quiet area of the standings while Sassuolo is dangerously close to the relegation zone.

At the Olympic stadium in Rome they face Lazio and Naples in a match closed and contested by the Neapolitans. Lazio tries offensive solutions with Isaksen's shots. Lazio player Castellanos scores a spectacular overhead kick but is offside and it is disallowed. At minute eighty-seven Zielinski takes a free kick that comes close to scoring but doesn't turn into a goal. The match ends 0-0, with a point of little value for both teams who nevertheless continue to hope in the fight for fourth place.

In Florence, the black and blues of Inter cynically find victory against Fiorentina. After a couple of chances, the black and blues found Lautaro's winning header from a corner in the fourteenth minute. In the thirty-second minute Frattesi finds the shot from a good position, but Terrafciano saves. A minute later, Inter's goalkeeper, Sommer, made a masterful save from Bonaventura's shot. Fiorentina's attempts in the second half with Nzola were of little use and the penalty missed by Fiorentina player Gonzales was of little use. Inter takes home the three points, remains first in the standings and leads Juventus.

Roma wins again and does so against a fierce Salernitana team. In the first half the yellow-red team had a lot of ball possession but the chances all belonged to their opponents.
In the second half Roma came into their own, winning a penalty which was converted by the yellow-red striker Paulo Dybala. A few minutes later Roma scored their second goal with Pellegrini pushing Karsdrop's cross into the net. Salernitana closes the gap by finding the goal with a header from Castanos, but it's not enough. The team coached by Daniele De Rossi still finds the three points and goes to fifth position in the standings, while Salernitana sinks to last place with the risk of never emerging from the nightmare.

DAY 23

The twenty-third day of Serie A begins in spectacular fashion with Lecce's victory against Fiorentina. The yellow-red team soon found their first goal with a spectacular free kick from Oudin, closing the first half at 1-0. In the second half, however, Fiorentina immediately found a goal with a spectacular shot from Mandragora. After a great save by Terracciano on a shot by Banda, Beltran takes advantage of an error by the Lecce goalkeeper, intercepts the pass and sends the ball into the net. However, the match is not over, Lecce does not give up and believes in the comeback, managing to score: first with a header from Piccoli; then with a shot from Dorgu at the end of injury time. Lecce takes another three golden points which keep them away from the last three positions, while Fiorentina is in crisis, achieves little and fourth place becomes more and more of a mirage.

Monza draws in Udine. the black and white team immediately attempted offensive solutions with Lucca and Tauvin crashing into the hands of Monza goalkeeper Di Gregorio. The same Di Gregorio who made a spectacular save from Tauvin's shot in the thirty-fourth minute of the first half. Monza starts to attack little and late, but resists and brings home a draw. A point that helps Monza to remain calm, but which does not help Udinese move away from the relegation zone.

Empoli also drew against Genoa. The two teams face each other without sparing attacking attempts: with Cambiaghi (who also hits a post) in the case of Empoli, and with Retegui and Sabelli (who also scores a goal disallowed for offside). The offensive attempts are of little use, the match remains at 0-0 and the two teams gain a point which is still useful for the sake of survival.

Frosinone faces Milan at the Benito Stirpe stadium. After sixteen minutes Giroud immediately puts a ball in the goal following a cross from Leao. Then, after a splendid save by Maignan, a penalty was awarded to Frosinone and the young talent Soule converted it without problems, ending the first half at one-to-one. Soule himself finds the goal to make it two-to-one in the second half, but the joy will not last long because Milan quickly equalizes with Gabbia and comes back with Jovic who takes advantage of an error by the Frosinone defense and scores the goal to make it three-to-two, allowing the Milan the three points necessary to remain firmly in third position in the standings.

Napoli immediately appeared in attack with a very strong shot from K'varatskhelia, a shot which the Verona goalkeeper, Montipò, deflected into a corner. After a short time K'varatskhelia tries a second shot but it is too central.
In the second half, Verona appears in attack first with Coppola and then with a shot from outside the area by Lazovic. After a great save by Montipò on Simeone's shot, Verona takes a free kick which Coppola deflects, with his head, into a goal which gives Verona the lead. However, the advantage did not last long as Napoli managed to equalize with Ngonge and then win with a spectacular goal from Napoli's jewel K'varatskhelia. Napoli wins the three crucial points for the fight for the Champions League place, while Verona stops in a difficult penultimate position with only eighteen points.

Match full of goals between Bologna and Sassuolo. Immediately in the thirteenth minute, Bologna goalkeeper Skorupski missed a low pass which ended up at the feet of Thorstvedt who shot and didn't miss the shot, making it one nil for the green-black team. Bologna immediately appears in attack: first with a solitary action on the edge of the penalty area by Zirkzee; then with a shot again by Zirkzee which was deflected by the Sassuolo player, Viti, and ended up in a goal, a draw for Bologna. In the thirty-third minute, Sassuolo's young talent, Volpato, receives a ball on the right side, centers himself and makes a splendid shot that ends up in a goal, Sassuolo ahead.
But then Bologna spreads in the second half, finding the way to the goal three times: first with Fabian coming on, then with Ferguson and finally with Saelemaekers. Bologna doesn't give up the fight for fourth place and proves it by taking all three points and leaving Sassuolo in a difficult area of the standings.

Another draw between Turin and Salernitana. Torino comes forward with Vlasic's plays and attempts from Bellanova and Sanabria, but Salernitana escapes. The Salerno team itself appears in attack in the second half with Candreva and Basic. the match ends without a goal. Torino tries some other offensive solutions, in particular a poisonous shot from Linetty which however is masterfully saved by the famous Mexican goalkeeper Ochoa. The match ends without a goal, a point for both teams, but for Salernitana it represents the oxygen to not die definitively.

Lazio loses in Bergamo against Atalanta. The black and blue team immediately finds the goal
in the fifteenth minute, with Pasalic managing a ball received inside the penalty area well, and turning it towards goal. After a shot that went wide from Lazio striker Luis Alberto, Atalanta was awarded a penalty: De Ketelaere converted it and it was two nil for Atalanta. In the second half Atalanta continued to attack first with Mirančuk, and then with De Ketelaere who started from the right side, entered the area and scored a true phenomenon goal. The penalty awarded to Lazio and converted into a goal by Immobile is of little use: Atalanta takes three points in a direct clash for the Champions League place while Lazio moves further and further away from fourth position.

Big March between Inter and Juventus at the San Siro stadium. Inter sets up various offensive solutions, both centrally, with Thuram and Lautaro, and on the flanks, with Di Marco and Dumfries. At minute thirty-one, however, Juventus found the first real opportunity in an action that led MC Kennie to serve Vlahovic in an excellent position, but the black and white attacker missed the control, losing the playing time necessary to score the goal. A few minutes later Inter found the goal with a deflection (and therefore own goal) by Gatti following a header by Thuram. In the second half, after the black and blue player Çalhanoğlu hits the post with a shot from outside, Juventus tries to attack with a poisonous shot from Kostic first and then an overhead kick from Vlahovic. The two teams attacked each other a couple of times (noteworthy was a save by the Juventus goalkeeper Szczęsny, following a shot by Barella) but the result remained unchanged. Inter beat Juventus one-nil, extending the gap between first and second place and moving ever closer towards winning the champions
hip.

New coach Daniele De Rossi's Roma wins and convinces against Claudio Ranieri's Cagliari. The yellow-red team scores the goal in the first minute with Pellegrini taking advantage of a daring dynamic on a corner.
At minute twenty-one Roma doubled their lead with a masterful move started, accompanied and concluded by Dybala. Cagliari appears to be slightly ahead with La Padula, but a few minutes after the start of the second half, a penalty is awarded to Roma who converts with Dybala. The match ends four-nil for Roma (who find another goal at the end) who take the three points for the third consecutive match and position themselves alone in fifth place while Cagliari is unable to find even a point which at the moment, as second to last in the standings, it would be of great help.

DAY 24

The twenty-fourth matchday of Serie A opens with the survival challenge between Salernitana and Empoli. The blue-and-whites immediately found a goal with Cambiaghi's cross deflected. The Salerno player got some scoring opportunities, especially one with a great shot from Castanos but well saved by the Empoli goalkeeper Caprile. In the second half, after a good chance for Empoli with a shot from Cacace, Salernitana found the goal with a header from Weissman. At the eighty-sixth minute, however, the blue-and-white player, Fazzini, makes a top-level move by penetrating the Salerno area and getting a penalty, Niang converts it and it's two nil for Empoli who then find the third goal with a great action by Cancellieri. Empoli who finds three points to continue fighting to get out of the relegation zone, Salernitana who instead seems more and more like a dead man walking.

Lazio won in Cagliari. The blue and white attack immediately proved to be overwhelming, after a close shot from Immobile the goal arrived immediately with a cross from Isaksen deflected by the Cagliari defence. Lazio found their second goal at the start of the second half, with Immobile taking advantage of the situation after Isaksen's shot saved by Scuffet. Cagliari's offensive attempts with Lapadula, Makoumbou and Gaetano's great goal from outside the area were of little use, because the blue and white did not stop producing attacking maneuvers and found the third goal with Felipe Anderson. Lazio finds three important points at European level while Cagliari almost doesn't seem to have the resources to find a way to salvation.

Roma welcomes Inter to the Olympic stadium. The yellow-reds put the Milanese team in great difficulty for the entire first half. Although the black-and-blues immediately took the lead with Acerbi's goal, Roma went into half-time leading by two to one, first finding the equalizer with Mancini's header, and then the comeback with El Shaarawy. But in the second half Inter spread, quickly finding the equalizer and coming back with two goals from Thuram and then closing the issue with a shot from outside by Bastoni which was badly deflected by Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio. Inter found the three points which put them alone and distantly in first position.

Sassuolo faces Torino and soon finds the goal with a great header from Pinamonti following a cross from Pedersen. But within a few minutes Torino found the equalizer with a goal from Zapata who took advantage of the low cross performed by Bellanova. Torino attacks a lot, with Bellanova playing on the right wing and with shots from Zapata and Vlasic, while Sassuolo attacks less and timidly with Laurienté and Defrel. At the end, an incredible save by Sassuolo's goalkeeper, Consigli, locks the result into a draw, one point each, more useful to Sassuolo who have recently been in bad places in the league table.

keep the black and blue team in fourth place in the standings.

Milan and Napoli face each other at the San Siro stadium. The Azzurri attacked immediately with K'varatskhelia and Simeone, but Milan found a goal from Theo Hernández who built a fantastic move together with Leao and Giroud. Milan attacks but Napoli's goalkeeper, Gollini, makes a couple of nice shots (one in particular from a shot by Leao) after which Napoli comes forward with shots from Simeone and Politano. A great save by the Milan goalkeeper, Maignan, on a shot by Di Lorenzo ends the match. Milan secure the three points and move closer to second place, while Napoli continues their disappointing season.

The twenty-fourth day ends with the defeat of Juventus in their stadium against Udinese. Juve attempts an initial attack with Chiesa's shot which ends up wide, but Udinese immediately finds the goal with Lautaro Giannetti. The continuous and numerous attempts with Milik and Rabiot were of little use, Udinese conquered the Juventus stadium and gained three vital points with a view to safety, while Juventus seemed to be increasingly cheering on their dream of winning the championship.

RECOVERY OF THE BOLOGNA-FIORENTINA MATCH FOR THE TWENTY-FIRST MATCHDAY

In the recovery match of the twenty-first matchday of Serie A between Fiorentina and Bologna, the red-blue team gives the public yet another high-level performance. Bologna attacked immediately with Zirkzee and Orsolini who, unleashed, scored a very nice goal in the eleventh minute. The defenseless Fiorentina continues to suffer the offensive maneuvers of Orsolini (who has a goal disallowed), Zirkzee and Ferguson (who heads a ball which is opposed by the Fiorentina goalkeeper, Terracciano, with a great athletic gesture). Fiorentina tried to find the equalizer with a free kick from Biraghi and a header from Nzola, but Bologna resisted and also found the second goal in the last minute of injury time with Odgaard. Fiorentina loses another train in the fight for fourth place while Bologna locks down fifth position.
