I am Italian and therefore passionate about soccer, so It makes sense if i open the topic of Serie A (the Italian soccer Championship) and will publish the results of each day with a small summary attached.
The Italian championship, like all European championships, has a different structure from the American sports leagues: it is made up only of a regular season in which each team meets all the other teams twice, once at home and once away. For every win you get three points, for every draw one point and for every defeat (obviously) zero points. At the end of the season, whoever finishes first in the standings wins the Cup, whoever finishes in the bottom three is relegated to the lower league and whoever finishes in the top seven qualifies for one of the three European cups of the next season (European cups have a structure more similar to US sports, first you face a small division and then after Christmas the playoffs begin).
In the 80s and 90s the italian championship was the first championship in the world in terms of level and difficulty, today it has fallen between third and fourth position, but it remains the most tactically complex championship according to some great coaches such as José Mourinho.. A championship characterized by grim and tactically very tidy and organized teams (especially in the defensive phase).
I will also select the best goal and the best save every day, in order to make the single athletic gesture enjoyable even for those who are strangers to this sport.
This year the Italian championship started in August and we are already at the ninth day which I am preparing to summarize.
