That's right.

Don't know what tripped my trigger exactly. Maybe irule finally gave up some koolaid or somethin? I am drinking a lot of it today.

We are running the table from here on out. That includes the Wisconsin game that I just said we'd lose.

Yep. HUSKERZ FER CHAMPZ.

Dead serious. Bring it on.

Our Defense is starting to click. That is the main thing that lead me to this conclusion.

Add on top of that the fact that we fight back like no other team I've ever seen, and now we have motivation to get a 2nd shot at Sparty.

Here we come boys. Here we come.

And you can say what you want about Tommy, he will grow from that experience.

He didn't have a good game, but he still did lead the troops back into the game.

I have absolutely zero concerns at QB. ZERO.

I predicted a Huskers season this year much like Mich st had last season. I think we will bounce back. As far as Beck goes IMO I think he needed to calm TA down after the first pick. Maybe even come down from the crows nest to talk to Tommy. In the 4th when he over threw Ameer, I mean Ameer might not have taken it to the barn but then again he might have...

Still don't get why people are discussing tommy so much. Hard to make good decisions when your OL holds their blocks for about .1 seconds

agree with irule. don't forget about some poor reads in the option game as well. I don't think we would have gotten much more with him running than the 1 or 2 yards AA was getting, but he needed to pull it more often and then run with authority, just seemed indecisive the whole game.

I mean when Sterup literally can't even get a finger on his man that doesn't leave Tommy very much time to set and throw...

another thing that has been bothering me. Did you notice the MSU defense and the way they would back out of maybe a defensive call when we seemed to change our play? Kinda wonder if we weren't tipping some stuff off some how.

Makes me curious, at what % of plays where we see one look on defense, we audible, but then the defense audibles as well. Seems to me if our audible can get the defense to audible, we should look into a simple way to switch the play back to the original.

My 10 y/o son noticed that as well. I remember him saying they act like they know our audible.

How many times have you watched the game?

I've only seen it the one time live. I might watch it again tonight though.

All defenses do that. Ours does that. Line up one way, wait for the audible call and then change the alignment.

i only watched it once. It just seemed odd that any time it looked like we audibled and they called off whatever defense they were in, we were getting stuffed pretty good. maybe a case where our tendency is to audible into the read option, I know that's usually something we like to run against a blitz because it gives us an option and we can get a hole.

I just rewatched it.

Last few minutes starting with the huge punt return give me chills. Pierson-El is seriously a God send.

I'm telling you, rewatch this game and watch our guys up front on Defense. They played hard the entire game. I am really impressed with the improvement that we've made on Defense. Cook is a good quarterback and we held him to 13 of 29 passing.

Just don't pay attention to the Offensive Line when you rewatch it, unless you want to puke. I've never seen a unit give so little effort in my life. Felt like I was watching Washington State in one of their 0-12 seasons or something.

Yea, but when we call an audible and don't change our formation, how do they know that they need to change their alignment?

All they have to go off of is what they hear at that point.
