Isaac Yiadom shouldn't be a starter.

If tonight proved anything, it's that Yiadom is a reserve/special teams player only. Carr threw at him early and often and getting down 2 scores early was the result of that.

And Hamilton needs to learn how to catch the ball, not let the ball catch him.

Special teams was rocky. That big return late hurt bad.

Other than that, not the worst performance ever. Need to tighten some things up here and there, but I think this team can be okay.

Yiadom is young. He was bad tonight though. He reminds me of Karl Paymah overdrafted on his physical tools but he got better as last year went on so hopefully we see improvement and consistency going forward. We as fans can complain and give up on players all we want but it’s all about learning from mistakes and getting better. Hopefully these guys who struggled tonight do that.

Tyrell Williams was a tough matchup for him, and Williams looked like he may be ready to take Cook's role with the Raiders ..

Fangio didn't do much in the way of helping Yiadom until it was too late ... Yiadom is returning from a pretty serious shoulder injury in addition to still being green out there as far as experience ... He had a nice pick vs Garappolo and I think he's got more of that type of play in him ...

Well, that was coached by design wear out the pass rushers early and then when there good and tired go over the top.

He was pretty bad last night. But he hasn’t been this bad since we got him. Last year his first time out there he was awful too then played much better as year went on.

Yes - the results were bad, but he had decent positioning on most of the catches against him. Last night he didn't have the presence of mind or athleticism to disrupt the receptions, but he was in position. This is why I indicated it wasn't that bad - being there is more than half the trick. I think he was intimidated by Waller's size, strength and speed. Let's see if the Broncos can coach him up - or move him around in the protections.
