Hey PC: The tear Doc has in his shoulder is analogous to an Achilles tendon rupture. As you stated, it'll be interesting to see if he can make a recovery but I thinking with his age and the nature of the injury his production may suffer a decrement similar to what happens with Achilles tendon ruptures that Kobe Bryant is now faced with.
I hear you but I am leaning toward the results mentioned by Packerzrule. I don't think he'll be the same but caution is the best approach.
