Is this normal or insane for a money league?

Just hit the deadline at midnight CT.

My 12 team money league completed a combined 104 trades this year.

I thought that was impressive.

Very impressive, in my main league we usually have 10-15 a year.

I love leagues that are actively trading... The only problem with having so many trades is that that would mean that your league would have too many crappy trades... But it is worth it...

That's insane, if it means what it sounds like. Since every trade needs two teams, that's 208 teams changing. Even if a quarter of those happened pre-season, that's 166 in 10 weeks in-season, which means every team participated on average in a trade or two every single week.

Oops. Sorry. I had originally just added up all of the trades on all 12 league members pages. I guess that would it would be half that, since that would already be counting what you added in.

So, 52. 104 teams changing.

Yeah, there were some bad ones. A guy in our league gave up Peyton Manning for Ray Rice, B Powell, and Chris Johnson right before it became obvious Rice stunk and Powell was done getting any kind of workload.

There were a few bad ones. But IMO, it was a great time.

We also allow waiver wire position, and draft pick swaps to be included into trades. So, it's really balls to the wall. It's fun as hell. Like three or four guys in our league don't have a single player left on their roster from their draft, including myself.

That's pretty freakin' wild...I thought our MBBRL Barbarians league was pretty active with 12 trades...until I realized that 8 of 'em were mine.
