ummmmmm when did i say anything about bettman? i was joking when i said this. sorry for not pointing out my sarcasm though. i do think gonchar should have been suspended although trust me i will always say that the league has no agenda. i would not watch if i thought that. and i wanted the flyers to get ponikarovski. so glad they did not.

No sweat, I just want to avoid the pissing contest and crap Pens fans had to put up with on the other site. I may be a bit defensive but it got old and I am looking forward to not dealing with it here.

Yeah, with that quote it is more dirty to me because of the timing of it than anything.

I think the timing is the only reason I made the thread.
If it happens in the first or second period, price paid.
But since it happened just after Mtl scored to go up 2 goals and was under 3 minutes left in the game, I thought it was possible he could have gotten a game.
Adams had him lined up the entire way and still finished the boarding check.
Some of the other hits like the Hossa hit were a much quicker gametime decision so I am not sure they are valid comparisons.
